摘要： A hair dryer stand for a handheld hair dryer includes a base and a holder pivotally mounted on the base. The base has a top face, two parallel ears protruding from the top face and two fastening assemblies. The holder has two curved sides and a space. The curved sides are formed together to form the space between the curved sides so the holder is able to clamp a hair dryer. The curved sides also have pivot pins with threaded holes, which are mounted respectively in the ears on the base and held in place by the fastener assemblies. The angle of a hair dryer mounted in the holder can be adjusted relative to the base to accommodate a specific person so that the person is able to use the hair dryer without holding it.

The housing is provided with a number of electrical outlets and a main power switch, all of which are disposed on the front of the housing in an accessible position. A main electrical cord connects the electrical receptacles on the housing to a wall socket. Accordingly, it is a principal object of the invention to provide a appliance organizer that combines a plurality of terminal receptacles with a main power switch, a plurality of cylindrical tubes adapted for receiving a hair dryer and a plurality of curling irons, and a main power cord.

The blower is supported on top of the arm of the user and proximate the user's shoulder as the user's arm passes through a rigid loop support which stabilizes the blower on the user's arm. The blower can be so operated for extended periods without the user becoming exhausted. An electric motor powers a fan and electrical resistance coils heat the air which passes therethrough.

摘要： A hair dryer holder apparatus which is light in weight, durable and efficient, and is fully adjustable for releasably holding a dryer. The holder includes a horizontal ring base and a pair of spaced vertical telescoping posts, to the upper ends of which are hinged a pair of adjustable arms which are angled generally toward each other. The arms have grippers on their free ends which releasably hold two portions of the dryer e.g., the handle and nozzle, at any desired angle for the convenience of the user. The hinges may be releasably locked into position or be frictional joints. The grippers may each have a pair of spaced jaws. In one embodiment the jaws are flexible and resilient. In another embodiment they are movable by a screw or bolt driven toward and away from each other. The telescoping posts can have lock rings or transverse lock pins.

The blow dryer is secured in position by retracting a spring loaded gripping member, inserting the barrel of the blow dryer or other appliance, and then releasing the gripping member so that it engages the barrel. The open frame member is shaped so as to taper in the direction away from the gripping arm so that the barrel is gripped at three contact points. The base includes a weight which serves as ballast. The holder is simple and easy to use, and can be used with a variety of different models of blow dryer. The holder can also be used for other appliances.
