    摘要： A toothbrush assembly with a sound generating function for providing excitement and entertainment to a user and for encouraging a young child to brush his or her teeth is provided. The toothbrush assembly has a contact-type switch and a sound generator. The contact-type switch has a swingable contact and generates a pulse when a power switch of the assembly is instantaneously closed for every swing of the swingable contact according to the tooth-brushing movement of a user. The sound generator has a counter for counting pulses from the contact-type switch and a sound recording and play back unit for generating a voice message or musical tone when the sum of the pulses counted by the counter reaches a predetermined value. The sound recording and play back unit of the sound generator outputs different voice messages or musical tones according to different predetermined values reached by the sum of the pulses counted by the counter.

    摘要： A water-proof electronic sound and light tooth brush including a handle and a brush head. The handle is a hollow body formed from a light permeable material, and is adapted to receive a sound and light control device. A tail end thereof is provided with a resonance box. The sound and light control device includes a battery adapted to provide electric power, and a contact switch for actuating a micro central processing unit. The contact switch includes a metal sleeve having an opening and accommodating therein a movable metal ball, the opening of the metal sleeve facing a metal piece remote from the metal sleeve in a non-contact relationship, such that the metal sleeve and the metal piece respectively contact the positive and negative terminals. Furthermore, the micro central processing unit is connected to a music integrated circuit and a speaker thereof. The speaker is provided near an elastic water-proof sound permeable film of the resonance box. The micro central processing unit is further connected to a large-size light emitting diode, and an array of small-sized light emitting diodes, such that the large-size LED is disposed in a hollow connecting portion between the handle and the brush head.

    摘要： A musical toothbrush has a elongate handle having proximal and distal ends. Bristles are formed at the distal end of the elongate handle and a music box is removably attached to the proximal end of the elongate handle. The music box has a housing within which a music generator is disposed such that it may conveniently be actuated by a child prior to brushing the teeth. A retainer disposed within the housing releasably retains the toothbrush upon the handle. The retainer has a tensioner assembly and a plurality of teeth disposed proximate the tensioner assembly such that the proximal end of the toothbrush is positionable intermediate the tensioner assembly and the teeth. The tensioner assembly urges the proximal end of the toothbrush handle toward the teeth such that the tips of the teeth are substantially depressed and therefore frictionally engaged to the proximal end of the toothbrush handle. Thus, the music box is removably attachable to the proximal end of the toothbrush handle such that the toothbrush may be utilized with or without the music box in place.
