摘要： A television stand including a base having a base bearing plate positioned on an exterior surface thereof and a motor drive compartment and a shaft passageway formed therein for receiving a motor drive assembly and a drive shaft respectively; a motor drive assembly positioned within the motor drive compartment, the motor drive assembly including a clutch coupled between a motor output shaft and a turntable drive shaft, the turntable drive shaft having a turntable drive gear attached to second end thereof, the turntable drive gear being positioned exteriorly of the base and above the base bearing plate; rotatable turntable having a turntable drive socket formed therein adjacent to an exteriorly positioned turntable bearing plate; and a turntable thrust bearing having a central bearing aperture, a section of the drive shaft being positioned through the central bearing aperture, the turntable thrust bearing being positioned between the base thrust bearing plate and the turntable thrust bearing plate. In a preferred embodiment, the television stand further includes a remote control circuit in connection with the motor drive assembly for allowing a user to remotely position the turntable.

摘要： In an articulated bed having a motor for raising and lowering the bed, a control circuit operated by the user has first user memory for storing a first user variable indicating a user-selected first preferred bed position and a recall button by which the user can command that a handler routine in the control circuit return the bed to the first preferred bed position indicated by the first user variable. Further, the control circuit can have a tracking memory for frequently storing a tracking variable indicating the current position of the bed and a "store" or "program" button or control by which the user can command that the first user variable be set to equal the current tracking variable. Thus, any time the bed is a position preferred by the user, the user can push the store button to store a user variable indicating the preferred bed position in the controller's memory; then afterwards the user can have the bed return to that preferred position by pressing the recall button.

The biaser is configured to allow the user to position the cabinet in a lowered position, with the guides moving through the tracks. The biaser will return the cabinet to a raised position.

摘要： A remote control system includes at least one hand control (2) and one or more control units (4). Each control units transmits a signal with a unique frequency. The hand control receives this signal from the control unit, which appears the strongest to the hand control receiver, as well as transmits a signal with a frequency which is a whole multiple of the received signal. The advantage of the system is that an arbitrary hand control automatically adapts itself to the control unit from which the signal is strongest and subsequently communicates with the control unit. The system may be constructed such that one-way or two-way communication may take place. In one embodiment, the system is exclusively composed of standard components, the spreading on the components being used for forming the unique signal. The system lends itself for all forms of furniture equipped with motor driven adjustment facilities.

The movement of the table lengthwise of the bed is controlled by, preferably, a motor with a shaft and a wheel over which the flexible cable passes to be moved one direction or the other. Yet other means can be used, such as an additional pulley or more, over which the cable passes, with pull ends on the cable to be moved one down and the other down when the other is in an up position.
