    摘要： Provided is a length-adjustable column with a standpipe having a longitudinal axis, a length-adjustment device arranged in the standpipe with a portion displaceably-mounted along the longitudinal axis with respect to the standpipe and an anti-rotation locking device for locking the portion against a rotation around the longitudinal axis relative to the standpipe. The anti-rotation locking device includes an inner element, which is fastened to an outer surface of the portion, and an outer element, which is fastened to an inner surface of the standpipe. The inner element cooperates with positive locking with the outer element against a rotation around the longitudinal axis, and is displaceably guided along the longitudinal axis by the outer element. The inner element is connected with the portion through a substance-to-substance connecting layer.

Each of the leg bodies includes a fixed leg column installed on a floor surface, a movable leg column supported by the fixed leg column to be raised and lowered, a gas spring which is extendable and retractable vertically to assist elevation of the movable leg column and fixation of a height position of the movable leg column, and a switch which switches an extendable state and a fixed state of the gas spring. An operating unit which operates the switch is provided in the top plate. A switching synchronizer is provided to simultaneously operate each of the switch when the operating unit is operated.

Each height adjustment column comprises a telescoping spring height adjustment lifting mechanism. The telescoping spring height adjustment lifting mechanism is typically a gas spring. Actuation mechanisms which actuate or unlock each lockable telescoping spring height adjustment lifting mechanism are used to allow the user to easily make height adjustments. The actuation mechanisms may extend above the table top. Connecting bars may be used to connect more than one actuation mechanism.

    摘要： An arrangement with a height-adjustable component includes an approximately vertically extending upright which bears the component, the upright including a pneumatic spring. The pneumatic spring has a cylinder having a bottom end connected to a fixed part of the arrangement. A piston displaceably arranged in the cylinder subdivides the cylinder into a bottom cylinder chamber and a top cylinder chamber and has a piston rod at one end. The piston rod projects through the top cylinder chamber and is guided out of the top end of the cylinder and bears the component at its free end. The top and bottom cylinder chambers are filled with a gas filling, under positive pressure, which subjects the piston to an upwardly directed push-out force corresponding approximately to the opposing weight-induced force of the component. A valve allows a gas flow from the top into the bottom cylinder chamber and blocks the same in the opposite flow direction. A manually actuable connecting valve selectively connects the bottom and the top chambers.
