The board includes an upper structural layer having an outer surface, a lower structural layer, a core having an upper surface substantially covered by the upper structural layer and a lower surface substantially covered by the lower structural layer. The board also includes a deformable element covered by the core on an upper surface. A first portion of the deformable element protrudes a distance beneath the lower structural layer towards a horizontal plane of the surface underlying the sports board. The board also includes a base element substantially covering the lower structural layer and the deformable element and an edge component positioned at least in part around a perimeter of the base element. At least a portion of the deformable element can deform upon application of an amount of pressure against the base element.

摘要： A sport board and a shock absorption system therefor, includes a glide board used in snow and aquatic sports or a roller or skate board, a rocker platform mounted in a seesaw fashion atop the sport board, whereupon opposite ends of the rocker platform may alternately move towards and away from the sport board, and a shock absorbing cushion disposed in respective spaces formed between the forward end portions and the rearward end portions of the sport board and platform. The cushions inhibit rocking of the rocker platform, absorb impact, and create a cushion sufficient for the rider to exert extreme pressures for balance, control, and maneuvers on any given terrain conditions. As a skate board, the board is curvilinear, including a center section that is spring-like and downwardly concave opposed end sections that are upwardly concave, and roller assemblies are proximate the opposite ends or end sections. The board includes shock absorbing bumpers.

摘要： A ski, monoski, or snowboard includes a base plate (2) with a platform (3) mounted to its central portion to receiving bindings for binding a skier's boot to the platform. A set of four longitudinal elements (40, 41, 42, 43) have one end (40a, 41a, 42a, 43a) which is removably attached to the platform, a second end (40b, 41b, 42b, 43b) which engages a forward or rearward portion of the base plate (2), space and a bridge (40c, 41c, 42c, 43c) between the first and second ends. The bridge is prestressed in order to augment the pressure applied by the boot during skiing to forward and rearward portions of the base plate and to provide a dynamic means of recall for returning the base plate toward a home position.
