    摘要: An educational device comprising a game board demarcated with a plurality of positions, each position having associated with it and actuator, actuation of which causes the communication device to provide instruction to the player as to what the player is supposed to do. A player can activate a random number generator to determine how many positions to move. Once instruction has been received, the player utilizes game pieces on the game board to execute the instruction. By going through this process, any player can learn a particular skill or gain particular knowledge that can be applied in life.

    摘要: An interactive audio puzzle solving, game playing, and learning tutorial system includes a microphone for receiving speech from a user. An electronic subsystem includes an analog-to-digital converter for converting the speech to digital signals, a speech recognition engine responsive to the analog-to-digital converter for translating the digital signals into user input data, a memory for storing the user input data, rules associated with a type of puzzle, game and/or learning tutorial, and initial data associated with a specific puzzle, game and/or learning tutorial, a logic engine for generating a decision output based on the user input data, and/or the rules and/or the initial data, a speech generation engine responsive to the decision output for providing digital speech representing the decision output, and a digital-to-analog converter for converting the digital speech to analog signals. An audio output device responsive to the analog signals converts the analog signals to output auditory speech, and wherein the speech from the user and the output auditory speech establish an interactive auditory dialogue for solving a puzzle, playing a game and/or learning from a tutorial.

    摘要: A system and method for improving musical education through use of a game, is provided. The method includes the steps of: receiving electrical signals associated with a musical piece provided by a user of the game; converting the electrical signals into digital samples; and analyzing the digital samples with use of auxiliary information, for purposes of improving signal analysis accuracy, resulting in determining various parameters of the musical piece provided by the user, wherein the auxiliary information is a-priori data related to at least one element selected from the group consisting of a musical instrument being played, a technical environment, the game, and information regarding the user of the game. Visual and/or audio feedback may also be provided to the user regarding the musical piece that they are providing.
