摘要: A display system for transforming sunlit and other brightly lit surfaces while being observed by viewers or an audience. The display system includes an optical element switchable between first and second operating states, and the optical element includes a pane that is opaque in the first operating state and transparent in the second operating state. The display system includes a controller operable to switch the optical element between the first and second operating states. Further, the display system includes a background image element positioned adjacent to a first surface of the pane of the switchable optical element. The pane may be a liquid crystal (LC) film, and the controller operates a power source to provide electric current to the LC film to switch the optical element to the second operating state. The display system may include a foreground image element positioned proximate to a second surface of the pane.

摘要: Disclosed is a hologram stage setting which is configured to apply a net screen of a grid network structure coated by a ceramic ball lens on the front part of a stage and directly project images, thereby enabling performance without specific limits on general multi-purpose stages instead of special stages, solving high cost problems caused by using a conventional foil screen, implementing high-resolution images, enhancing durability, and performing easy maintenance and repair. The hologram stage setting includes: a rear screen which is installed on the rear part of a stage to display a rear background image; a lower screen which is installed on the lower part of the stage to display a lower background image; a front screen which is installed on the front part of the stage to display a front hologram image; and a front hologram image projector which generates and projects the front hologram image.

摘要: The present invention concerns a projection system for providing a distributed manifestation within an environment. The projection system includes a data generator for generating a plurality of data sets of associated state data and spatial coordinate data. The projection system also includes a projector in communication with the data generator for receiving the data sets. The projector is provided with a signal generating module for generating a plurality of electromagnetic signals, and a projecting module for projecting each of the electromagnetic signals towards a target location within the environment. The projection system also includes a plurality of receiving units distributed within the environment, each receiving unit having a receiver for receiving one of the electromagnetic signals when the receiving unit is positioned in the corresponding target location, each receiving unit being adapted to perform a change of state in response to the state data.

摘要: A visual background simulation allowing a user to create a wave simulation. The visual background simulation is composed of a sheet with at least three sides laid out flat on a surface and attached to the surface on one side. A player takes hold of the portion of the sheet opposite the side attached to the surface and lifting their arm high in the air runs towards and eventually past the attached side. This allows the sheet to billow and catch the air. Once past the attached side, the player may lower their arm and trap the air in a “tube” formed by the sheet and the surface.

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for expanding the apparent range of movement of actors during a stage performance, from a stage platform to a background display, or from a background display to a stage platform. The appearance of the live actors on the stage platform and images of the live actors on the background display is the same. Timing, location and movement of the live actors on the stage platform is integrated with images of the actors on the background display. The integration of the live actors and images appears to an audience that an actor has moved from stage platform to the background display, or from the background display to the stage platform.

摘要: A light-weight toy is attached to a player via a near-invisible fixed-length tether, typically using a low-tack adhesive at the ends of the tether. In especially preferred embodiments, the toy has a mechanism that creates an appearance of plausible possibility of flight without actually providing sufficient lift and/or propulsion for flight. Imaginary flight is achieved by manual lifting and moving the toy via the tether. Thus, the tether forms an integral part of the imaginary play for the player and is not used as an implement of a ‘magic trick’ for an audience.

摘要: One or more ready-to-use near-invisible fixed-length tethers are provided on a carrier such that each tether can be removed from and reattached to the carrier without tangling. Most typically, such attachment is facilitated by modifying the ends of the tethers with a low tack adhesive and by winding the tether around a spool portion. Especially preferred low-tack adhesives provide adhesion of the tether ends to a user, the carrier, and the toy. In particularly preferred aspects, the tether is attached such that one end is removable while the other end remains attached such that the tether can be unwound from the spool by inverting the carrier.
