    摘要: The device is of the frustum dispersion type having a housing forming a conical cavity, sealed at its large end, tapering to a discharge orifice at the other end. There is a fluid inlet, which tangential to the cavity near the sealed end. There is a hollow, tapered helix cut cone shape in the center of the cavity, affixed to the sealed end, with the point thereof axially aligned with the discharge orifice to help enable the continuous swirling motion of the contained fluid and to act as a gas inlet port to start the formation of a gas vortex. As fluid in the cavity approaches the discharge orifice, it is accelerated because of the reduction of area inside the cavity as it tapers. The change in specific gravities between the fluid and the gas causes a swirling centrifugal force on the liquid and a centripetal inner swirling of the gas. The result is at the point of discharge, the fluid is heavily loaded with small bubbles of gas.

    摘要: The mixing nozzle of the present invention generally includes a casing and mixer. The mixer fits within the casing and includes alternating elongated helical flow directing lands and notched barrier lands. The flow directing lands extend from the body and seal against the inside wall of the casing. The barrier lands also extend from the body but are offset from said inside wall of the casing. The flow directing lands and the barrier lands have differing helix angles and thus define alternating converging inlet channels and diverging outlet channels. Mixing of molten plastic is accomplished when the molten plastic is received from the inlet end of the mixing portion primarily by the inlet channels, passes over the barrier lands and through the notches in the barrier lands and passes primarily via the outlet channels through the outlet end of the mixer.

    摘要: A system for cleaning a substrate with a foam performs a method for generating a cleaning foam. In the first operation of the method, the system pumps a fluid into a premix chamber. The premix chamber is a component of a male plug which fits into a female housing in the system. Then the system injects a gas into the premix chamber to initiate generation of the foam from the fluid. The foam flows from the premix chamber into a sealed helical channel formed by a helical indentation on an outside surface of the male plug and an inner surface of the female housing to allow the foam to reach a desired state along a length of the sealed helical channel. In the last operation of the method, the foam outputs from an exit end of the helical channel through the male plug to a component of the system.

    摘要: A method for processing a fluidic mixture in a multi-stage hydrodynamic cavitation device is disclosed. The fluidic mixture is introduced to an inlet and passed through a flowpath having at least ten cavitation zones. The fluidic mixture is exposed to cavitation inducing features in each of the at least ten cavitation zones to induce cavitation bubbles, which bubbles are then collapsed between every two adjacent of the at least ten cavitation zones. The multi-stage hydrodynamic cavitation device for processing the fluidic mixture has a generally cylindrical housing with an inlet, an outlet, a flowpath therebetween, and a plurality of cavitation zones along the flowpath. Two or more of the cavitation zones along the flowpath comprise a disk multi-jet nozzle having a plurality of through channels disposed across the surface thereof, wherein each channel includes expansions and contractions of its cross-sectional area along its length.
