Abstract: A method for reducing the turbidity of as-mined sand comprising adding water to the as-mined sand to increase its moisture content to between about 5% and about 40% by weight, mixing the sand and water, piling the wet sand on the ground, allowing the sand to rest for a predetermined period of between about 12 hours and about 3 days, then harvesting less than all of the sand from the pile as reduced turbidity sand.

Abstract: A method for controlling a data center, comprising a plurality of server systems, each associated with a cooling system and a thermal constraint, comprising: a concurrent physical condition of a first server system; predicting a future physical condition based on a set of future states of the first server system; dynamically controlling the cooling system in response to at least the input and the predicted future physical condition, to selectively cool the first server system sufficient to meet the predetermined thermal constraint; and controlling an allocation of tasks between the plurality of server systems to selectively load the first server system within the predetermined thermal constraint and selectively idle a second server system, wherein the idle second server system can be recruited to accept tasks when allocated to it, and wherein the cooling system associated with the idle second server system is selectively operated in a low power consumption state.

Abstract: A treatment device for treating a mixture of at least a liquid, organic solids and inorganic, mineral solids, includes a container for receiving the mixture. The container tapers in a funnel shape in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the container. An inlet tangentially supplies the mixture to the container. Abstract: A rake conveyor comprises a horizontal movable part and a rotating-swinging part and/or an inclined part. A screen is located above part of the rake conveyor. The rotating-swinging part and/or the inclined part of the rake conveyor is followed by a first bucket conveyor or the a part of the dual bucket conveyor, which lifts the used loose material into equipment for sorting of loose material. At least one of the outputs of equipment for sorting of loose materials is followed by a second bucket conveyor or by a second part of the dual bucket conveyor. The outlet of the second bucket conveyor or the second outlet of the dual bucket conveyor leads to a silo, which is additionally equipped with an outlet mouth, leading into a container. Once used abrasive material has accumulated, the excess abrasive material is taken out of the container above the rack conveyor.
