    摘要: A cooling clamp is operable to hold coolant and an item in proximity to one another and includes a pair of relatively shiftable jaws and a receptacle mounted to at least one of the jaws. The jaws are shiftable into and out of a closed position, with the jaws being configured to receive at least a portion of the item therebetween and apply a clamping pressure to the item when in the closed position. The receptacle is mounted to at least one of the jaws and presents a chamber to receive the coolant. The receptacle includes an exposed wall section that defines in part the chamber and is configured to contact the item when the jaws are in the closed position, with the exposed wall section thereby serving as a direct thermal conductor between the item and the coolant.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device comprising supports (3, 4) which can be moved relative to each other and on the mutually facing walls of which toothed profiles (6, 7) are provided. Each said toothed profile interacts with opposing segments (31, 32) of a rotatable gear (2), by means of the rotation of which the supports (3, 4) can be moved in opposite directions simultaneously in a synchronized manner. The gear (2) has a varying tip circle diameter (d) along the gear circumference, wherein the tip circle diameter (d) increases along a segment (31, 32), and an effective outer diameter (dw) of the gear (2) is arranged between the supports (3, 4) in a clamped rotational position, said effective outer diameter (dw) matching a target diameter.

    摘要: A vise system including a plurality of jaws associated with a vise body. A first jaw is attached to a first shaft which are both slidable with respect to the vise body. A second jaw is attached to a second shaft which are both slidable with respect to the vise body independent of the first jaw and first shaft. A locking mechanism is associated with the first and second shafts for locking the first and second shafts, and first and second jaws, in place. The locking mechanism includes a first collet partially surrounding the first shaft, and an aligned second collet partially surrounding the second shaft. First and second stops are operatively connected to a handle so that as the handle is turned, the first and second stops engage the respective first and second collets to compress the collets over the shafts to immobilize them.

A stationary jaw mount is spaced away from the support assembly. Interchangeable quick change jaws are mounted to both the movable jaw mount and the stationary jaw mount. Quick change jaws face each other for clamping operations and face away from each other for spreading operations. A two-way drive arrangement is designed having at least an engagement lever. A handle engages the engagement lever when the two-way drive arrangement is engaged, and disengages the engagement lever when the two-way drive arrangement is released. A support structure mount is mounted to the slide bar. A quick release support structure is mounted to the support structure mount providing free-standing capability.
