摘要: Improving vibration reduction of a handle in a hand-held power tool by performing a predetermined operation on a workpiece by linear movement of a tool bit in an axial direction. The power tool includes a power tool body, a handle and a vibration-proofing part. The vibration-proofing part includes an elastic element that is disposed between the power tool body and the handle and reduces transmission of vibration from the power tool body to the handle, and also includes a body-side receiving part and a handle-side receiving part which are opposed to each other so as to hold the elastic element. The vibration-proofing part is designed such that deformation of the elastic element is shearing deformation in each of the direction of a z-axis defined along the axial direction of the tool bit and the directions of a y-axis and an x-axis which intersect with the z-axis.

摘要: An overload clutch assembly for a power tool having two torque settings through which rotary drive is transmitted to a spindle. The overload clutch assembly is capable of being between switched between the two torque settings by at least one actuator. The clutch assembly comprises a carrier rotationally mounted on a output clutch spindle; a first clutch plate operational for transmitting torque below a first level; and a second clutch plate operational for transmitting torque below a second level higher than the first; and characterised in that, when the overload clutch is in the higher torque setting, the torque is transferred from the carrier to the output clutch spindle via the second clutch plate only.

摘要: An at least partially rotating and axially percussive hand-held machine tool (4) has an impact mechanism (5) with a guide tube (6) in which a percussion piston (7) is driven in an axially percussive manner by a pneumatic spring (8) and with a slip clutch (10) which is driven in rotation, encloses the guide tube (6), is provided axially with cams (9), and has a driving sleeve (11) and driven sleeve (12) which are biased axially relative to one another under pressure by a spring (13). The driving sleeve (11) is connected by positive engagement to a control sleeve (14) coaxial to the driving sleeve by balls (18) which partially engage, respectively, in two control contours (19a, 19b) of the driving sleeve (11) and of the control sleeve (14), which control contours (19a, 19b) are arranged partially opposite one another, and the driving sleeve (11) is positively guided in such a way that the driving sleeve (11), which is axially biased under pressure by the spring (13), is displaced axially and rotated relative to the control sleeve (14) when a limiting torque is exceeded.

摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide an effective technique for improving the durability of a torque limiter utilized in a power tool. The object is achieved by a representative power tool comprising a tool bit, a driving mechanism and a torque limiter. The torque limiter includes first and second rotating members, a ball, a pressing member and an elastic member. The second rotating member includes a power transmitting region with a groove continuously formed from a deepest groove part to a shallowest groove part to allow torque transmission and a power transmission interrupted region with a groove shallower than the shallowest groove part of the power transmitting region to interrupts the torque transmission. According to this construction, when the ball is in the power transmitting region, the pressing member contacts the first rotating member and is held in a position in which the biasing force of the elastic member is prevented from acting upon the ball.

摘要: It is an object of the invention to reduce transmission of an external force caused by run-out of a tool bit to a tool body in a power tool is provided. A representative power tool which performs a predetermined operation by linear motion of a tool bit in its axial direction has a tool body, a tool holder that holds the tool bit in its front end region and extends in the axial direction of the tool bit, and an elastic element. A rear region of the tool holder opposite from the front end region extends into the tool body, and in the extending region, the tool holder is coupled to the tool body such that the tool holder can rotate about a pivot on a z-axis defined by an axis of the tool bit, in directions of y- and x-axes which intersect with the z-axis. The elastic element applies a biasing force to the tool holder in such a manner as to hold the tool holder in a predetermined position or an initial position with respect to the tool body.
