Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of producing a shaped body, wherein, in step i), a layer of an amorphous sinter powder (SP) comprising at least 70% by weight of at least one amorphous polyamide selected from the group consisting of polyamide 6I/6T and polyamide DT/DI is provided, and, in step ii), the layer provided in step i) is selectively sintered. The present invention further relates to a method of producing an amorphous sinter powder (SP) and to an amorphous sinter powder (SP) obtainable by that method. The present invention also relates to use of the amorphous sinter powder (SP) in a sintering method, and to shaped bodies obtainable by the method of the invention.

Abstract: A method of making a homogeneous mixture of polyolefin solids and carbon solids without melting the polyolefin solids during the making. The method comprises applying acoustic energy at a frequency of from 20 to 100 hertz to a heterogeneous mixture comprising the polyolefin solids and the carbon solids for a period of time sufficient to substantially intermix the polyolefin solids and the carbon solids together while maintaining temperature of the heterogeneous mixture below the melting temperature of the polyolefin solids, thereby making the homogeneous mixture without melting the polyolefin solids.

Abstract: A build material for additive manufacturing applications is disclosed. The build material includes a build composition in powder form. The build composition includes a semi-crystalline polymer having a glass transition temperature of at least 60° C. as measured by DSC and a minimum crystallization half-time of greater than 100 minutes as measured by SALS. A semi-crystalline polymer useful in additive manufacturing applications, an additive manufacturing method for producing a three-dimensional object and an additive-manufactured polymer article are also described.

Abstract: A shaped structure and a fabric material are set in a belt mold such that the shaped structure and the fabric material are respectively positioned inside and outside with respect to each other. While each of compression layer-forming portions comprised of ridges of the shaped structure covered with the fabric material is fitted in an associated one of compression layer-shaping grooves of the belt mold, the shaped structure is pressed toward the belt mold and heated to be crosslinked, and integrated with the fabric material, thereby molding a cylindrical belt slab. The belt slab is cut into ring-shaped pieces having two or more of the compression layer-forming portions.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing golf balls having a core and a cover of at least one layer encasing the core includes, when molding the cover, blending a thermal antioxidant into the cover stock in a plurality of divided portions. Abstract: The present invention relates to a crash pad for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof. In one embodiment, the method for manufacturing the crash pad for the vehicle comprises a step of injecting a skin foam-forming composition between a lower mold having a color coating layer formed thereon and an upper mold having a core layer formed thereon, foaming the injected skin foam-forming composition to form a skin foam layer, wherein the color coating layer is formed by applying the color coating composition to the inside surface of the lower mold and curing the applied color coating composition.
