摘要: An press is described useful for pressuring a plant, such as an herb, or portion of the plant to yield fluids (e.g., oil, juice). The press includes a lower plate and an upper plate connected by a number of posts perpendicular to the plates. Each plate includes two or more bars and channels between the bars. When the plates meet, the bars' upper surfaces can overlap with those from the opposite plate, pressing the plant in between. A rack can be used for loading the plant into the press and rack holders can be placed on the lower plate to guide and receive the rack.

摘要: A wine making apparatus includes an engaging mechanism for engaging a fermentation tank, and a press mechanism for pressing the wine making ingredients in the tank against an inner surface of the tank. In a described embodiment a tank has a pair of forklift attachment points and a movable platform on a wine press mechanism is adapted for receiving the forklift attachment points. A lifting apparatus raises the platform and tank such that the contents of the tank are crushed by a relatively fixed plate above the tank. A pair of hydraulic rams are connected in series such that fluid output from one raises the other, thereby assuring that the platform and tank are evenly raised.

摘要: A machining waste metal recycling machine has an in-feed hopper. The hopper uses paired augers to move the waste metal through the hopper to a cutting and transporting auger. The hopper augers are powered independently from each other, and may be individually reversed or reversed as a group to clear jams. In the event a jam is not cleared through one or more reversal cycles, the remaining augers may be operated to clear the hopper, thereby avoiding the need for manual unloading. Within the hopper are one or more shear bars that are provided to sever bunches or bundles of machining waste and thereby clear tangles which might otherwise jam the augers. The cutting and transporting augers ultimately feed a reciprocating compactor having a movable gate with one or more grooves for controlled drainage of machining oil and other liquid, as the machining waste metal is compressed into pellets.

摘要: A compressing machine includes a press unit 12 for compressing a concentrated sludge within a squeezing chamber to provide a briquette B, and a press control means 13 for controlling the press unit 12. The press control means 13 includes a parameter and compressing speed setting means 26, a parameter measuring means 28, and a compressing speed control means 27. The parameter and compressing speed setting means 26 is a means in which a relation between a predetermined parameter that may affect compression performed by the press unit 12, and a compressing speed of the press unit 12. The predetermined parameter may include a coolant temperature, ambient temperature or a coolant content and others. The parameter measuring means 28 is a means for measuring the predetermined parameter. The compressing speed control means 27 controls, based on a result of measurement by the parameter measuring means 26, the compressing speed of the press unit 12 in accordance with a content set in the parameter and compressing speed setting means 26.

摘要: An automatic process in which after the press is filled and before starting a normal pressing cycle the flow rate of liquids is measured continuously without applying any pressing pressure. The tank is then rotated and the minimum and maximum values of the flow rates are determined and then compared respectively with predetermined values. Based upon this comparison and as a function of the results of the comparisons there is performed a preliminary pressurized draining of the materials to be pressed while at the same time the orifices for evacuation of the liquids are checked for possible clogging. These operations are repeated until the results of the comparisons no longer warrant a pressurized preliminary draining and subsequently initiating the normal pressing cycle.
