摘要： A one revolution clutch assembly is provided which transmits the rotation of a normally rotating drive shaft to a driven rotating body through gears and which interrupts the rotation of the driven body when it has rotated through one revolution. The one revolution clutch assembly includes a drive gear mounted on the drive shaft and which meshes with a driven gear on the driven body. The driven gear is formed with a hiatus along part of its periphery, and when the hiatus is located opposite to the drive gear, the rotation of the driven gear is interrupted. The driven gear is maintained in this position where it ceases to rotate, by a cam mounted on the driven assembly and formed with a notch which is engaged by a movable piece of an electromagnetic plunger. A crank lever has its one end rotatably mounted on the driven assembly, and imparts a rotating force to the driven gear to cause a meshing engagement of the driven gear with the drive gear when the driven gear is located at said position. When the plunger is actuated to release the driven gear, the crank lever causes a rotation of the driven gear. The timing when a meshing engagement between the driven gear and the drive gear is initiated is determined by a projection on a cam follower which is provided on the driven assembly and which engages a notch in a cam provided on the drive assembly.

摘要： An electrothermal printing unit for writing dots matrix characters on a thermosensitive paper comprises a print head carrying a plurality of thermo-activable printing elements aligned along a printing line of the recording medium.The head is reciprocated in a direction parallel to the printing line of the recording medium. 摘要： In an image-recording device, a feeding roller feeds recording media one at a time from a media-accommodating unit along a conveying path. A pair of registration rollers is disposed on the conveying path and conveys the recording medium fed by the feeding roller to an image-recording region. The registration rollers include a drive roller. A carriage reciprocates in the image-recoding region in a direction intersecting a conveying direction in which the recording medium is conveyed. A recording head is mounted on the carriage. A drive transmission switching unit is disposed outside the image-recording region on one end with respect to the reciprocating direction of the carriage and switches a combination of rotating and halted states of the drive roller in the registration rollers and the feeding roller between a continuous feeding mode and an intermittent feeding mode. A controlling unit activates the drive transmission switching unit by moving the carriage to selectively switch between the continuous feeding mode and the intermittent feeding mode.

摘要： A control system for a dot matrix line printer having one print element for each character position on the line; a single-line memory stores the data words for a line of characters and those data words are supplied to a character signal generator sequentially to print the dots for an initial matrix position in a c.times.r matrix for all characters, whereupon the print elements are shifted one column increment along the print line. This procedure is repeated for each dot matrix position, the record sheet being advanced one row increment each time c column positions have been printed. After completion of c.multidot.r scans, printing of a full line of characters is complete, the single-line memory is cleared, and the process is started again for the next line of characters, after a line-space feed of the record sheet.
