Abstract:
This invention relates to a fabric for inked ribbon characterized in that it is a fabric using multifilaments of a twist of 30 T/m or less for the warp and has the fiber orientation in said warp disturbed through high pressure liquid treatment and to its manufacturing method. The inked ribbon according to the present invention is applicable to the impact type serial dot printer, line printer and other printers and has very little hot spot produced and is distinguished in the ink absorption notwithstanding a very low twist of 30 T/m or less for the warp of the fabric.
Abstract:
A WOVEN FABRIC PRINTING RIBBON, COMPRISED OF INDIVIDIA; FOBERS, HAVING A MULTIPLICITY OF RUPTURABLE MICROCAPSULES BONDED TO ITS SURFACE BY MEANS OF A SOLIDIFIED FILMFORMING COACERVATE POLYMERIC MATERIAL.
Abstract:
The disclosure discloses an ink ribbon. The ink ribbon includes a ribbon base layer, a first layer, and a second layer. The first layer is configured to separate from the ribbon base layer and is disposed on a first surface of the ribbon base layer. The second layer is configured to adhere to a transfer target and is disposed on the first layer. The melting point of the second layer is 60 [° C.] or more and 90 [° C.] or less.
Abstract:
The invention relates wax blends containing long-chain hydrocarbons and alcohols, to printing ink compositions and thermal transfer ribbons containing the wax blends, and to the use of said wax blends as additives in printing inks.
Abstract:
The invention relates to borderline formation on a multi-color ink ribbon for use on a typewriter or impact type printer. The ink-impervious borderline is formed by melting the fiber in the corresponding linear zone of the substrate fabric by irradiation with thermal radiation, specifically, an oblong laser beam, without physical contact.
Abstract:
A transfer/correcting ribbon with a base or carrier strip having a semi or low tack adhesive covering substantially one entire surface thereof has at least two co-equal width strips connected to adhere thereto by pressure so as to completely cover the base strip, the base strip will have an approximate thickness of 1-3 mils and the longitudinally extending co-equal width strips will have an approximate thickness of 1.5 to 5 mils so that in assembled position, the adjacent longitudinally extending co-equal width strips will have a uniform outer surface.
Abstract:
A printer ribbon having nigrosine dye with hydroxide counter ion, preferably at 23% by weight, in an oleic acid vehicle to form an ink saturating a fabric. The ribbon has the long life of a dye-only fabric ribbon and is effective for both correspondence and bar code applications.
Abstract:
The method of providing an impression fabric in which the fill yarns do not protrude from the plane of the fabric. The impression fabric is a tubular woven fabric in which a plurality of warp yarns is woven in one edge thereof and dissolved by washing after the fabric has been formed.
