摘要: The four wheel vehicle uses an electric motor (142) for driving the vehicle and a battery unit (160) for supplying electric power to the electric motor. The lower chassis (5) of the vehicle includes a pair of front side frames (10) extending linearly in a fore and aft direction with an upward slant and a progressively increasing lateral mutual spacing from a front part thereof to a rear part thereof and a plurality of cross members (14, 16, 18) connecting the front side frames to each other. The battery unit is positioned between the two front side frames such that the battery unit overlaps with the front side frames in side view. Thereby, the battery unit can be effectively protected from side impacts.

A first spring is mounted between the first seat and a second seat and has a coil wherein the coil extends a long a first axis. A second spring applies a biasing force to the strut along a second axis transverse to the first axis. The second spring is operatively connected to the vehicle body and the strut.

摘要: A vehicle comprising a sprung mass and unsprung masses, front and rear suspensions coupling said sprung mass through said unsprung masses so that said unsprung masses can move independently in a vertical direction with respect to said sprung mass. Each of said suspensions comprising a resilient element and levers, the ends of which are hingedly connected to an unsprung mass while their other ends are connected to said sprung mass. A unit for said resilient elements is arranged on said sprung mass; and a plurality of flexible elements, each coupling said unit for said resilient elements with an unsprung mass. The flexible elements are under tension in the entire range of the vertical movement of an unsprung mass with respect to said sprung mass due to pretightening of the resilient elements.

摘要: A strut assembly for a suspension corner employed in a vehicle having a vehicle body and a road wheel includes a damper. The strut assembly also includes an elastic unit having at least one spring module acting in concert with the damper to suspend the vehicle body relative to the road wheel. Each spring module has a positive stiffness spring arranged in parallel with a negative stiffness spring. A vehicle that has a suspension corner employing the elastic unit and is configured to maintain contact between the road wheel and the road surface and provide isolation of vibration between the road wheel and the vehicle body is also contemplated.

摘要: The invention relates to a suspension member attaching a vehicle wheel to a body or frame of a vehicle. The suspension member includes first and second separate similarly shaped portions. One of the portions having a supporting region that supports a spring element arranged between the suspension member and the vehicle body or frame. The first and second portions having, at least in some section or sections, a contour bent at the edges to form sidewalls. The sidewalls of the respective first and second portions oriented relative to one another so the portions are in contact with one another, at least in some region or regions, via the sidewalls thereof. The first portion having an aperture through which the spring element passes whereby the spring element contacts and is supported by the second portion.
