Abstract:
A frame, in particular of a universal carrier, which includes a chassis of the frame, a left axle with two portal suspensions at the ends of the left axle, a right axle with two portal suspensions at the ends of the right axle, and the double-sided stabilizing lever. The double-sided stabilizing lever is pivotally mounted on the chassis of the frame in the transverse direction. The axles are pivotally mounted on the chassis of the frame in the longitudinal direction. The double-sided stabilizing lever is connected to the left axle and the right axle and is arranged between them transversely.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an arrangement in a forestry machine (100), in which arrangement there is —a chassis (12), —a single-axle set of wheels (13) pivoted to the chassis (12), and —at least one auxiliary wheel (18) fitted the outside the set of wheels (13), in order to increase the load-bearing capacity of the rear part (19) of the chassis (12). —The arrangement further includes —at least one support arm (20) arranged to carry the said auxiliary wheel (18) at its first end (22) and pivoted at its second end (24) to the said chassis (12) with the aid of a transverse shaft (23), —a support surface (36) attached to the chassis (12) and a counter surface (38) attached to the said support arm (20), for limiting the transverse movement of the support arm (20). —The invention also relates to a corresponding forestry machine.
Abstract:
Travel devices for a transport vehicle are arranged in a longitudinal direction and a width direction of a loading platform to allow traveling of the loading platform. In this travel device, an arm includes an upper end turnably supported at a lower portion of the loading platform. The arm includes a lower end where an axle box is supported swingably in up and down directions. A wheel has a mid-plane that intersects with a swing plane of an axle shaft disposed at the axle box, and is supported at the axle shaft. Accordingly, this ensures a small vehicle width L2 of the transport vehicle.
Abstract:
Tilting devices suitable to vehicles that are free to tilt and free to be steered, apt to let them lean when driving and to keep them standing when stopped only by means of their brakes (or the like) (61, 62), characterized in that, due to a suitable tilt axis inclination with reference to the ground and to a proper combination and proportion of parts, any lateral rotation of the tilting vehicle around its tilt axis (at) is kinematically linked to a differential longitudinal displacement (fdd) of at least two wheels (wh1, wh2) (or endless tracks, snow skis, ice skates, or the like), in a way that the tilting vehicle can effectively be kept standing when stopped and can be parked perpendicular to the ground and crosswise a slope of at least 15% by simply operating the vehicle's brakes (or the like) (61, 62) and without further locking devices.
Abstract:
Provided is a running device including a frame (11) and a first wheel part (15) and a second wheel part (35) arranged with an appropriate distance therebetween along a running direction (R). The first wheel part (15) includes a first left support arm (17) and a first right support arm (26) arranged on the frame (11) in a manner to be swingable within a plane extending along the running direction (R). The second wheel part (35) includes a second support arm (36) arranged on the frame (11) in a manner to be swingable within a plane perpendicular to the running direction (R). The first left support arm (17) has first left wheels (19, 21) respectively on both sides thereof, and the first right support arm (26) has first right wheels (28, 30) respectively on both sides thereof. The second support arm (36) has a second left wheel (38) and a second right wheel (40) respectively on both sides thereof.
Abstract:
A vehicle includes two wheels on each side, with the pair of wheels on the left side mounted on a single bar that pivots up and down about a pivot point (left side wheel pivot plate) fastened to an axle that runs through the vehicle chassis from side-to-side. A pair wheels on the right side is similarly mounted (right side wheel pivot plate) on the right end of the axle. A stabilizer bar and associated components are attached to the rear portion of both pivot plates limits the independence of the up and down motion of the pivot plates, stabilizing the vehicle.
Abstract:
In an axle suspension device for a vehicle with gas spring suspension and roll stabilization an essentially rigid stabilizer body is used which is hingedly connected in two points to the axle to be stabilized, each near one end thereof, and in two points to the vehicle frame, which latter connections are formed by substantially vertical hydraulic cylinders with piston rods, having a sliding bearing in the cylinders, which can absorb transverse forces, the cylinders or piston rods thereof being connected to the frame by rigid connections.A control system for such cylinders has a pressure transformer with a larger surface, which is directly or indirectly under the pressure of the gas in the gas spring system, and has a smaller surface, on which the hydraulic pressure in said cylinders acts in the opposite direction, said surfaces being connected for common movement, a control pressure exerted by a fluid acting on the other side of said larger surface in the same direction as said hydraulic pressure being variable to control this system depending on one or more parameters on the basis of driving or road conditions. All this allows a simple and reliable design, safety and adaptation of roll stabilizing to different conditions for maximum comfort.

Abstract:
A tractor has front wheels mounted on the frame at fixed angles and a pair of rear wheels each mounted on a respective castor assembly. Each of the castor assemblies has a vertical pivot axis mounted in a swivel support of an axle of the frame and a bottom transverse tubular member connected to a pair of parallel forks carrying at a lower ends the transverse axle of the wheel. The mounting link includes a torsion spring defined by a rod attached to the forks which passes though a sleeve containing a resilient elastomeric spring of the tubular member allowing spring suspension pivotal movement of the upper ends of the forks relative to the bottom transverse member about an axis parallel to the wheel axis.
Abstract:
A novel construction for a body for a vehicle in which two elongate decks are provided supported in alignment one on top of the other and spaced from each other with rib members extending from each side of the decks outwardly to the side joining the sides of the decks and defining a cavity between the decks and inside the rib members. The ribs are preferably tubular members for strength but reduced weight.
