摘要: A heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system has a steerable outlet for directing a stream of treated air into a passenger compartment of a vehicle. A thermographic imager is configured to capture thermographic images covering a fixed region within the passenger compartment in which an occupant is potentially located. The HVAC control circuit is configured to a) compress a thermographic image to a temperature map representing pixels of the thermographic image falling within a predetermined temperature range corresponding to the occupant, b) filter the temperature map according to a sliding window to coalesce continuous regions of pixels on average falling within the predetermined temperature range, c) quantify an area for each continuous region, d) locate a centroid of a continuous region having a largest area, and e) aim the steerable outlet toward the centroid.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a vehicle climate control system for controlling climate conditions in various cabin regions of a vehicle cabin, where the climate control system is configured to control one or more vehicle components to change the set of climate conditions associated with one or more cabin regions to approximate a set of optimal comfort conditions. The climate control system controls various vehicle components to control climate conditions, including window assemblies, sunroof assemblies, etc. The climate control system determines optimal comfort conditions which optimize perceived temperature of various occupant body parts and maintain various climate characteristics within one or more sets of thresholds. Output configurations of various vehicle components can be determined based at least in part upon determined optimal comfort conditions of various cabin regions. Output configurations can be generated based at least in part upon various control mode priorities.

The vane has a first pivot axis and a second pivot axis. A controller is configured to control the first electric motor to pivot the vane relative to the first pivot axis and to control the second electric motor to pivot the vane relative to the second pivot axis.

摘要: An HVAC control system for directing the flow of air in a work vehicle's HVAC system responds to the orientation of a rotating seat within the work vehicle's cabin. The seat may rotate between at least two operational positions, such that the operator of the work vehicle may control a forward or a rearward implement. The HVAC control system includes one or more detectors for detecting the position of the seat. A control module receives output from the detectors and allows or prevents the flow of air through particular ducts in the HVAC system based on the seat's position. The control module may actuate one or more doors to open and close ducts as needed. The control module may operate a first door to open or close forward ducts and a second door to open or close rearward ducts depending on whether the seat is facing forward or rearward.

摘要: A climate control system is provided with a control vent unit that a driver may adjust for a desired direction of airflow. After the driver does so, a control system automatically and/or simultaneously adjusts the position of the remaining vents so as to direct respective air flow to substantially the same location in the vehicle. Preferably, a similar control vent is provided on the passenger side of the vehicle. Should a passenger adjust the passenger control vent unit, the control system will automatically and/or simultaneously adjust the remaining vents on the passenger side to direct the respective air flow to the selected position in the passenger side of the vehicle.
