摘要： A motor vehicle includes a vehicle seat system, the vehicle seat system including a vehicle seat having a seat back and a seat part. The seat part and the seat back are mechanically connected to each other by a hinge having a first axis of rotation extending substantially in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle. The vehicle seat system includes a folding vehicle seat capable of being folded up and situated next to the vehicle seat having a folding vehicle seat seat part and having a folding vehicle seat seat back. The folding vehicle seat seat part and the folding vehicle seat seat back are mechanically connected to each other by a hinge having a second axis of rotation extending substantially in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle, which with respect to the first axis of rotation is offset or displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle. The folding vehicle seat in the folded state is able to be situated, e.g., substantially entirely, below the seat part and/or the vehicle seat and the folding vehicle seat are mechanically connected to each other.

The seat assembly has a seating area, which is swingably mounted to a lower end of the backrest, and a coupling brace, which has one end swingably mounted to the seating area and another end swingably mounted to the standing area. Connected to the seat assembly is a seat belt for fastening the occupant.

The cargo bed can be changed between an expanded state in which the cargo bed is expanded in a front direction to the rear riding space and a non-expanded state not occupying the rear riding space. A backrest for the rear seat is attached to the screen shield. The screen shield can be shifted between a position in the expanded state and a position in the non-expanded state when a seat bottom and the backrest of the rear seat are changed between a retracted state in which the seat bottom and the backrest are erected on the same straight line and a seatable used state.

摘要： A folding seating unit for a vehicle provides a forward or rearward facing seat with a backrest which is capable of being folded flat and sideways against the side of the vehicle at a low level beneath the window level of the vehicle. The seating unit can be stowed within side trim panels without obscuring windows, or the load carrying area of the vehicle floor, and is particularly suited to multipurpose vehicles or vans. The seating unit includes: an outboard leg coupled to the vehicle side, and an inboard leg engaging with the vehicle floor, a retraction mechanism providing automatic folding of the inboard leg when the seating unit is folded to its stowed position; an extending backrest squab which extends the effective height of the backrest when the seating is in a deployed condition, but retracts when the seating is in the stowage position. A more compact stowed seat is achieved, while maintaining a desirable height of seating for neck and head support of an occupant of the seat, thereby reducing risk of injury in accidents, and increasing the range of occupant size for which the seating is suitable.

摘要： A height-adjustable backrest assembly includes a connecting member an upper end mounted between a positioning board having vertically spaced positioning grooves and a backrest movable relative to the positioning board in a vertical direction. A lower end of the connecting member is coupled to a seat or a base. A positioning button is pivotably mounted to the connecting member and has a positioning section biased by a spring to releasably engage one of the positioning grooves. A transfer groove below the bottommost positioning groove receives the positioning button when the positioning section of the positioning button disengages from the positioning grooves. The positioning button abuts against an abutment member on the connecting member to limit the positioning section in a position not aligned with the positioning grooves. The abutment section disengages from the abutment member when an abutment protrusion of the positioning board presses against the positioning section.
