摘要： A headrest assembly having a bracket mount affixed to an upper portion of a seatback frame and at least one headrest bun supporting tube pivotally secured to the bracket mount. A spring biased cam is pivotally secured to the bracket mount and, in a normally biased position, engages an underside projection of a selected one of the supporting tubes, the cam also having an outwardly projecting pin. At least one wheel shaped component is rotatably mounted to an exterior of the bracket mount in proximity to the cam, the wheel having an outer circumferential location which, upon being rotated, contacts the projecting pin causing the cam to pivot in a downward unseating direction from the supporting tube, triggering release of the headrest and supporting tubes in a forwardly rotating and dump position.

摘要： A headrest for a vehicle seat includes a padded part, carrying bars for securing the padded part to a backrest of the vehicle seat, and a mechanism for turning down the padded part about two swivel axes and from an in-use position into an out-of-use position. The mechanism comprises a cross member connecting the carrying bars to one another and forming the swivel axis of the padded part. Furthermore, the carrying bars and also the cross member run outside the padded part and the padded part is suspended on the cross member from the outside in a swiveling movable manner via the retaining strut and the double clip.

摘要： An inclinable headrest includes a base bracket including first and second side walls, a ratchet gear, and a lock gear movable for engagement with the ratchet gear. Both ratchet and lock gears are disposed inwardly of the first and second side walls. The lock gear has a connecting hole. The first side wall of the base bracket has an opening defined at a location where the connecting hole of the lock gear exists, and a connecting region defined near to that opening. Provision of those opening and connecting regions allows direct and quick connection by a worker's hand of a tension spring between the lock gear and base bracket from the outside, such that the worker can directly engage one end of the tension spring with the lock gear's connecting hole through the opening, while directly engaging the other end thereof with the base bracket's connecting region.

The headrest includes a padded part facing the head of a seat occupant, a basic part and a comfort-adjustment device. When the headrest is in use, the padded part can be adjusted by the comfort-adjustment device relative to the basic part from a first position, in which it is further away from the head of the seat occupant, into a second position, closer to the head of the seat occupant. The comfort-adjustment device has two control elements which can be set in a locking position and in an unlocking position, the movement of the control elements being synchronized.
