摘要： A seat control system is used with a seat of a vehicle and includes a housing, a first pulley rotatable between first, second, and third positions, and a second pulley rotatable between first and second positions. The seat control system includes a first input cable rotating a first pulley when tensioned, a first output cable tensioned by the first pulley, and a second output cable tensioned by the second pulley. A pawl is coupled to and movable with the first pulley between the first, second, and third positions and selectively rotatable relative to the first pulley. The pawl engages the second pulley to couple and rotate the first and second pulleys from the first positions to the second positions. The pawl disengages the second pulley as the first pulley rotates from the second position to the third position to permit rotation of the second pulley to the first position.

The system comprises means to effect the steps of initiating a movement of the rear seating and, after initiation, moving the front seat so that collision between the seating is avoided. The front seat is returned to its previous position, or as near as possible thereto, afterwards. The system includes means to detect the position of the seating and to calculate whether a collision will occur, and automatically to effect the requisite movements of the front seating to avoid the collision.

Catches are guided between locked and unlocked states by the guide segments and interact with the toothed ring to lock the fitting. A spring-loaded rotatable eccentric acts such that the catches interact with the toothed ring. A rotatably supported driver rotates the eccentric. An indicator is connected to the driver or to a fastening ring fastened to the driver. An adapter is connected to an operating lever and is supported on the driver or on the fastening ring. A sensor, fastened to the adapter, is connected to the fitting, detects a position change of the indicator and provides an electrical output signal. The adapter is returned to an initial position by a restoring spring regardless of the locking state of the fitting if the operating lever is not actuated.
