    摘要: A compaction device is removably connected to a refuse receiver and is positioned on a skid mounted frame which is dragged by a utility vehicle through an underground mine for the collection of waste material collected from the mining operations. The waste material is deposited into a compaction chamber and compacted in the receiver. Where electric power is not accessible for operation of the compaction device, hydraulic power is supplied from the hydraulic power takeoff on the utility vehicle. The receiver filled with compacted waste material is disconnected from the compaction device and lifted from the support frame onto the utility vehicle. The receiver is transported out of the mine for pick-up of the compacted waste material by a commercial waste hauler. By collecting and compacting waste material in the mine, the frequency of hauls of waste material from the mine and the associated costs are substantially reduced.

The suction side of the partial-vacuum source is connected to the conveying pipe and onwards to an input point arranged in the conveying pipe or at least to the feed-in channel that is between the conveying pipe and an input point, wherein the input point, or at least the feed-in channel, that is closest to the material container in the conveying direction of the material empties and the material displaces into the conveying pipe. A wall for closing the pathway between an input aperture and the conveying pipe is provided.

    摘要: A waste collection system has an outer shell arranged at least partly underground. A waste container (6) is inserted partly into the outer shell, and has a frame mainly above the ground (8), and a top container (9) mainly above the ground and inside the frame. A bottom container is arranged mainly underground inside the outer shell. The waste container has a cover which opens to emptying the container and one or more filling openings arranged on the cover for introducing waste into the waste container. Lifting means are arranged on the frame, and are engaged by a lifting mechanism (20) so the waste container can be lifted out from the outer shell and emptied and returned. The frame has protrusion(s) (18, 19) toward the inside of the frame and the top container has corresponding recesses (21, 22) which attach the top container to the frame.

    摘要: A system for handling organic waste at a food-handling facility includes a mill that reduces the volume of the waste and a below-ground storage tank that receives the milled waste. A ventilation line and an air flow producer draw air from the storage tank, placing the tank under negative pressure and preventing noxious odors from escaping into the facility. A rigid suction line extends from the interior of the storage tank to points external to the tank and the facility itself. A suction truck periodically removes the waste stored in the tank, applying suction to the suction line to draw the stored waste into a portable tank aboard the truck. The suction truck transports the waste to a disposal site where the well-divided waste may be expelled onto and incorporated by tilling into soil for decomposition by soil organisms.
