    摘要: An improved tape delivery assembly for delivering a turn-up tape across a moving web of paper being wound onto a spool, the assembly being part of a paper web turn-up system, the tape being used to sever and transfer the leading edge of the cut paper web onto an empty spool. The track body of the tape delivery assembly extending across the paper web comprises a dual internal pathway, having a primary longitudinal channel and a secondary longitudinal channel through which a primary or secondary tape is passed, respectively. A primary tape dispenser assembly delivers the primary tape into the primary channel and a secondary tape dispenser assembly delivers the secondary tape into the secondary channel. A braking mechanism is provided to retard travel of the primary and secondary tapes for removal from the track body.

    摘要: A reel changer of a printing press has a securing assembly for a safety area. The safety area extends on a receiving end or on a dispensing side of the reel changer at least over the entire width to the end-face side frames. These side frames comprise vertically supported frame parts and optionally also include switch boxes end or side boxes that are arranged directly on the side frames.     摘要: When the paper loaded in a printer is changed to a different type of paper, the paper setting in the printer can be easily updated without a paper mismatch error occurring. When the paper is replaced or the paper setting is changed in the printer 1, the cover 3 is first opened, the roll paper 12 is removed from the roll paper compartment 11, and the cover 3 is then closed. A paper settings update command from the host device 32 is received and executed when no roll paper is loaded. After the command is executed, the cover 3 is opened, new roll paper 12 is loaded, and the cover 3 is closed.
