摘要: Ethers, esters or acid anhydrides are advantageously obtained when a cake of a first reactant selected from salts of organic or oxygen-containing inorganic acids or alkoxides disposed on a filter element is flowed through by a solution of a second reactant selected from inorganic or organic acid halides and alkyl halides, so that the insoluble halide salt formed remains on the filter element. The halide salt can thus be removed substantially quantitatively in a simple manner.

摘要: The invention comprises organic phosphorus compounds of the general formula wherein R1 and R2, which may be the same or different represent C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 alkylmercapto, C1-C4 alkylamino, di-C1-C4 alkylamine, cyano-substituted di-C1-C4-alkylamino, phenyl, C1-C4 alkylmercapto-substituted phenoxy, phenylamino, or morpholyl radicals or a further group or R2 and R2 together form an alkylene-dioxy group; R3 and R4, which may be the same or different, represent hydrogen atoms or C1-C4 alkyl, cyano-substituted C1-C4 alkyl, or phenyl radicals or the group represents a morpholyl or piperidyl radical; A represents the residue of carbonic, sulphurous, phenyldithiophosphonic, C1-C4 alkoxy-substituted phenyldithiophosphonic, phthalic, halogen-substituted phthalic, or maleic acid; and X represents an electron pair or a sulphur atom. These compounds may be produced by reacting an appropriate organic compound of trivalent phosphorus containing at least one phosphorus-nitrogen band with an appropriate organic or triorganic anhydride to give a compound in which X is an electron pair and, if desired, reacting said compound with elementary sulphur or a sulphur-yielding agent to give a compound in which X is a sulphur atom. The compounds of the invention exhibit pesticidal activity (see Division A5).ALSO:Pesticidal compositions contain an organophosphorus compound of the general formula wherein R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, represent C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 alkylmercapto, C1-C4 alkylamino, di-C1-C4-alkylamino, cyano-substituted-di-C1-C4 alkylamino, phenyl, C1-C4 alkylmercapto-substituted phenoxy, phenylamino, or morpholyl radicals or a further group or R1 and R2 together form an alkylenedioxy group; R3 and R4, which may be the same or different, represent hydrogen atoms or C1-C4 alkyl, cyano-substituted C1-C4 alkyl, or phenyl radicals or the group represents a morpholyl or piperidyl radical; A represents the residue of carbonic, sulphurous, phenyldithiophosphoric, C1-C4 alkoxy-substituted phenyldithiophosphoric, phthalic, halogen substituted phthalic or maleic acid; and X represents an eletron pair or a sulphur atom, in admixture with a solid or liquid diluent or carrier.

摘要: A process for carrying out a liquid/solid reaction comprises a) preparing a reaction suspension in which a first reactant is present in suspended form and a second reactant is present in dissolved form in a suspension medium, where one of the reaction products is insoluble in the suspension medium, b) passing the reaction suspension through an elongated reaction zone so that the Reynolds number of the stream is less than 20,000 and c) separating off the insoluble reaction product formed. The process has the advantage that the insoluble reaction product is obtained in a readily filterable form.

摘要: Compounds of formula (I) are disclosed: ##STR1## wherein L.sup.1 is a main group atom, L.sup.2 is a neutral ligand, M is a transition element or a metal element of Group 13, 14, 15, or 16 of the Periodic Table, x is the number of coordination sites of M, R.sup.1 is a polymerizable group, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, and R.sup.4 are ligands, and R.sup.5 is an anionic ligand. The compounds or monomers of formula (I) are capable of conversion to polymers by combination with one or more other known monomers, such as methyl methacrylate. Such polymers can then be added as a binder in a paint formulation to make marine antifouling coating compositions. Also described is a method to prevent fouling on surfaces wherein a composition containing a metal complex compound of formula (II): ##STR2## wherein M, x, L.sup.2, n, and R.sup.4 have the same meaning as in formula (I), is applied to the surface susceptible to fouling.

Following the processes according to the present invention, the resultant hydroxyapatite has greater strength and bioactivity than that of the coral to its conversion.
