Polyurethane elastomers are formed by curing a reaction mixture containing at least one polyisocyanate at least one polyol, an aliphatic diol chain extender and a small amount of a secondary amino compound that may have none or one or more hydroxyl groups. The reaction is catalyzed with a metal catalyst. In certain embodiments, the catalyst is an organozirconium, organotitanium or tertiary amine-based catalyst. The presence of the secondary amine compound in those cases provides for a good surface appearance and good physical properties.

A method of renovating an existing pipeline comprises spray-coating the interior of the pipeline using a two part coating system of which the two parts are mixed at the time of application. One part of the system comprises a polyisocyanate whilst the second part comprises one or more oligomeric polyamines, optionally further blended with a secondary aliphatic polyamine, or the second part comprises one or more aromatic polyamines blended with one or more polyols. The mixture forms a coating on the interior surface of the pipeline and forms, at a high cure rate, a monolithic flexible lining which exhibits high strength and a high level of adhesion to the pipe wall.

The urea condensation compositions are produced by heating urea or heating urea to produce isocyanic acid and/or cyanic acid which reacts with urea to form urea condensates. The bio based compound are environmentally friendly, replaceable compound such as vegetable oils, molasses, sugar, lignin and hemi-cellulose. The urea and/or urea condensation compounds may be mixed with or reacted with carbonization auxiliaries. For example, polyurethane foams can be rendered less flammable with urea and/or urea condensation compounds and utilized as insulating and sound proofing materials.

Fertilizer, fungicide and insecticide compositions are produced by the process of this invention. The potassium urea salts of phosphorus, boron or sulfur containing compounds are produced by reacting urea with and acidic mineral acid compound then reacting this urea salt of mineral acid with a basic salt forming compound such as potassium hydroxide. These fertilizer, fungicide and insecticide compositions may be applied by spraying on plants in a dilute aqueous solution to give plants some protection against dry rot, fungi and insects and also fertilizer the plant. It also acts as an insecticide against insect such as termites, cockroaches and ants.
