    摘要: This present invention relates to methods for preparing premium or near-premium brightness pulps for towel and tissue applications from fiber sources comprising substantial amounts of lignin-containing pulp and chemical pulp while controlling fines, scale and anionic trash. These methods use alkaline hydroxide in combination with peroxide and oxygen for initial bleaching stages followed by treatment with a peroxide activating agent to convert residual peroxide in the pulp into peracetic acid followed by a final reductive bleaching stage.

    摘要: Deinking of waste paper is obtained with the use of a hydrophobic kaolin-based deinking composition. The hydrophobic kaolin-based deinking composition is produced by hydrophobizing the kaolin clay and then blending the hydrophobic kaolin-based particles with a deinking surfactant. Separation and removal of ink is achieved either by washing deinking, flotation deinking or combination of these methods.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a process and composition for the recovery of fibre from waste paper and paper broke which has been treated with wet-strength resins. Specifically the present invention is directed to the removal of such resins from the fibre material, so that such fibre material may be recycled to a paper web forming process, by using selected persulfates such as potassium persulfate. Optionally, the persulfate is used in combination with a surfactant. Improved repulping of the waste paper is achieved.
