Abstract: The invention relates to a wrapping material (1) for wrapping an article (10), which is based on glassine paper with a grammage in the range of 25 to 50 g/m2, wherein the wrapping material (1) is present in the form of a web. The web has i. a first side face (S1), ii. a second side face (S2) situated opposite the first side face (S1), iii. at least one web portion (B) having a first and a second outer region portion (2, 3) and inner region portions (4, 5, 6, 7, 8), wherein the inner region portions are arranged between the outer region portions (2, 3). A heat-sealable coating is applied to the glassine paper on at least one of the two side faces (S1, S2) in at least one first outer coating region (2a-2g) in the first outer region portion (2) of the web portion (B). A heat-sealable coating is applied to the glassine paper on at least one of the two side faces (S1, S2) in at least one second outer coating region (3a-3g) in the second outer region portion (3) of the web portion (B).

The underlying problem of the invention is to provide a receptacle (1) which is formed exclusively from biodegradable components, which has a high gas-impermeability and a high mechanical stability and the manufacture of which is particularly flexible and cost-effective.
To solve the problem, the container (2) has a biodegradable, cured impregnation which at least locally reinforces the structure of the container (2).

Abstract: Processes for imparting oil and grease resistance to paper products. In some embodiments, the process can include combining a plurality of fibers and water to produce a slurry; forming the slurry into a wet web; pressing and draining the wet web to produce a wet sheet; and drying the wet sheet to produce a dried sheet. A sizing composition and a barrier compound can independently be applied to at least one of the slurry, the wet web, the wet sheet, and the dried sheet. The sizing composition can include one or more alkenyl succinic anhydride compounds. The barrier compound can include a polyolefin dispersion, a styrene acrylate emulsion, a sucrose ester, a modified starch, styrene maleic anhydride, an ethylene acrylic acid dispersion, a styrene acrylic acid, a polyvinyl alcohol, an ethylene vinyl alcohol, or a mixture thereof. The dried sheet can have an average KIT Value of at least 3.

The device is then shaped into a container filled with an anti-bacterial cleaning agent, or other agent, and assembled on the paper ply. The hand wetted paper ply can be used as paper towels or toilet paper for dry and/or wet hygienic cleaning.
