    摘要： A marker post having a breachable coating for providing a visual indication of the presence of an object, with the marker post comprised of glass fibers supported in a resin containing a secondary pigment to provide an internal color to the marker post, and with the breachable coating containing an ultraviolet blocking agent, with the breachable coating having a principle pigment of a color that is the same or substantially the same color as the secondary pigment in the resin so that in the event the breachable coating having the principle color pigment is breached, the underlying secondary pigment in the resin will be visible through the breached coating so that a viewer observing the marker post from a distance will see the marker post as one color even though two distinct surfaces of the marker post are exposed.

    摘要： A highway safety fin having a horizontally protruding rod-shaped portion which extends into the edge of a roadway at an angle oblique to the direction of flow of the traffic. The rod portion is attached to or is integral with a flexible member which in turn is attached to or integral with a support member for holding the rod in its proper position. The flexible member allows the rod to move out of the way of a vehicle when it has been impacted and then return to its original position. The support member is attached to a mounting member by means of a breakaway weld which allows the rod to be severed from its mounting when impacted too severely. The mounting member provides a means for securing the highway safety fin along the edge of a roadway.

    摘要： A plowtector system for extending a snow marker pole over a residential curb. The plowtector system reduces the chance of damage to a curb and/or snow plow when plowing is necessary. A snow marker pole placed within the plowtector system reaches over where the curb starts so that the snow plow operator has a clearer indication of how far to the side they can travel. Should the plowtector system be struck by a snow plow, the system can twist from side to side, reducing the amount of damage that may be caused by such action. The integral components of the plowtector system keep the snow marker in a level position, and bypass the possibility of the snow marker becoming lodged in snow or ice.

    摘要： A traffic delineator comprises a tubular body having first and second ends, the first end being configured as a base or being adapted for affixing to a base. The delineator may also include a slotted region to enhance flexing of the tubular body in response to vehicle impacts. The slotted region may include slot(s) formed transversely in the tubular body. In some embodiments, the slot(s) may include one or more discrete slot, each of which may define a hinged section of the tubular body. In some embodiments, the slot(s) may include a continuous transverse slot having a helical configuration. In some cases, the slotted region may be disposed proximate the first end, and a second slotted region or other window region may be disposed elsewhere on the tubular body so as to expose a reflective sheet that may be applied to an inner core disposed within the tubular body.
