摘要： A sea turtle friendly beach cleaning assembly designed for removal of seaweed and other debris from a sand beach. The device includes a beach raking assembly including a plurality of tines, in conjunction with a drag bar and a wire basket. When pulled across a sand surface, the device functions by pulling a plurality of “S” shaped tines across the sand surface in a substantially non-invasive manner, thereby eliminating any possible damage to turtle nests. The cooperation of the tine assembly and drag bar function to leave behind a smooth and clean surface free of ruts that would otherwise impede the movements of turtles and hatchlings.

摘要： The invention is directed to a sand straining tool. The tool is intended for use in sifting through sand to collect objects. An elongated cylindrical shaft terminates at the upper end in a T-shaped handle. The lower end of the shaft includes a bowl-shaped, porous sifter at the center of a small shovel blade, attached to the shaft at an oblique angle. The angle of the shovel blade allows the user to scoop up sand easily with substantial mechanical advantage, and the T-shaped handle allows the user to agitate the shovel blade so that the sand and any objects it contains will descend into the sifter, with the sand escaping through the holes in the sifter. The design is lightweight, and intended for use on the beach as well as in shallow water.

The garbage separation and recovery machine has a drum type sieve body (54) that is freely rotatably secured to a vehicle body frame (51) towed by a vehicle, a driving gear (92) that is freely rotatably supported by the vehicle body frame (51) and secured to an axle (52) to which right and left wheels are secured, and a mechanism portion (91) for transmitting the driving force of the driving gear (92) to the drum type sieve body (54). The mechanism portion (91) has a gear switching mechanism (95) for performing a switching operation between an automatic rotation mode in which the drum type sieve body (54) is rotated by the rotational force of the wheels (53) and a manual rotation mode in which the drum type sieve body (54) is released from the rotational force of the wheel (53) and allowed to be manually freely rotatable.

The device may include an actuator for adjusting the height of the brushes, and a tow bar that allows the device to be positioned in an “active” orientation to sweep a field, or an “uplifted” orientation to transport the device across curbs or rough terrain. Multiple brushes and/or baskets may be provided.

摘要： Seaweed is picked up from the surface of a beach with general purpose earth moving machinery by installing a series of fingers extending forwardly and downwardly from the blade or bucket of the machine. By driving the machine forwardly along the beach, the fingers pass through the sand and seaweed on the beach travels up the incline of the fingers. The fingers accordingly act as a separator to separate most of the seaweed from most of the sand. Several embodiments of earth moving machines are adapted for seaweed handling or removal.

A refuse reclamation section is provided on the traveling body rearwardly of the bar-like scraper for collecting pieces of refuse scraped up and thrown rearwardly by the bar-like scraper onto a net member.
