摘要： An advanced latch for a main door of an aircraft emergency oxygen container can be manually released by a manual release actuator pin to move the main door to an intermediate test position, while pushing the manual release actuator pin further releases the latch completely, causing the main door to open. The latch also can be operated automatically by utilizing a small, lightweight motor or an equivalent pneumatic actuator mechanism to rotate a gear mechanism of the latch.

摘要： A closure restraint system for providing security of an enclosed space by denying access into the interior of enclosed space or vice versa denying access to the exterior of the enclosed space. Access to said enclosed space is provided by some type of closure, typically a door, gate or access panel. The closure restraint system is mounted as and operates as a single unit with the second support plate being swiveled along the frictionally-restrained axis of the swivel shaft to the locked position with the closure closed. As the closure is attempted to be opened it is held ajar in the locked position; a line of sight or access cannot be obtained into or out of the enclosure; therefore, it does not allow the restraint system to be defeated.

When pressing the second door panel, the clamping device will release the inserting clasp and the second door panel is pulled back to its original position.

In some embodiments, the apparatus generally includes a bracket that may be secured to the jamb behind a strike plate using the same screws, bolts or nails that secure the strike plate to the jamb. In other embodiments, the apparatus generally includes a bracket that is integral with a strike plate and, accordingly, is secured to the jamb using the same screws, bolts or nails that secure the strike plate to the jamb. The various embodiments of the apparatus further include a barrier that selectively bars or prevents the pivotal movement of the closed door or window.

The locking controller is operated in connection with an inner handle resiliently returned to a neutral position when being turned into a door opening direction or into a door closing direction. If the inner handle is pulled or pushed in the door opening direction in the state that the sliding door is closed, the inner handle is turned into the door opening direction from the neutral position to release a door-close maintaining means. If the inner handle is pulled or pushed in the door closing direction in the state that the sliding door is open, the inner handle is turned into the door closing direction from the neutral position to release a door-open maintaining means. Therefore, a simple operation that the inner handle is turned in one direction makes the opening or shutting of the sliding door possible.

摘要： A security closure device to protect a building opening and a closure member. The device includes a main security panel and a narrower secondary security panel that are hingedly mounted to each other. The side of the main security panel opposite to the smaller security panel is hingedly mounted to a security casing assembly inside the building defining the protected opening. A user can readily unlock the narrower panel from the casing assembly from inside the building without requiring a key or combination. From the outside, a key or combination is required. To open the inwardly swinging security closure, a user opens the closure member a sufficient distance determined by the width of the secondary panel to unlock it. The angular travel of the secondary panel with respect to the main security panel is limited by a stopper assembly.
