    摘要: An over slam bumper for a vehicle is provided and includes a buffer unit having one end protruding from an inner panel of the door toward a vehicle body and absorbing shock power between the vehicle body and the door. A mounting unit has one end fixed to another end of the buffer unit and another end thereof is inserted into a penetration aperture to fix the buffer unit to the inner panel. The mounting unit includes an insert flange inserted into the buffer unit and a support flange interconnected to the insert flange. An insert having one end integrally protrudes from a center of the support flange toward the penetration aperture and clips are integrally formed at the protruding end of the insert and are fixed while being locked to an inner circumferential surface of the penetration aperture when a predetermined portion thereof is inserted into the penetration aperture.

    摘要: A hood bumper for a vehicle includes a foundation, a pair of legs extending from the foundation in a first direction, a support extending from the foundation in a second direction, and a head adhered to the support. At least a portion of the support is a first material and the head is a second material such that the first material is harder than the second material. The support includes first and second portions extending between the foundation and the head which are mirror images. The head is designed to deform and the support is designed to collapse under force. In alternate embodiments, the foundation and/or support are designed to fracture under force. The hood bumper is coextruded so the base and head have fixed heights and cross sections.

    摘要: A closure dampening bumper includes a base, a pair of guide walls extending from the base, and a plurality of beams extending from outer surfaces of the guide walls. The base is operable to define a stop-bumper for a moving structure, such as a gooseneck. The guide walls extend from the base and have respective inner and outer surfaces. The inner surfaces taper outward from one another. The distance between the inner surfaces increases from the base to respective distal ends of the guide walls. The guide walls are operable to receive the moving structure between the inner surfaces. The guide walls guide the moving structure to the base. The beams extend from the outer surfaces of the pair of guide walls. The beams elastically deform to dampen the energy associated with the moving structure during passage between the inner surfaces.
