    摘要: An internal combustion engine has at least one cylinder, and a means for varying the compression ratio in the cylinder. The at least one cylinder has two oppositely directed reciprocatingly movable pistons in it, which are each connected via a piston rod with a corresponding arm, whereby each arm shows an opening in which a main shaft that connects the two arms is rotatably supported in bearings. The main shaft includes an angle with a centre line of each opening. The means for varying the compression ratio in the cylinder includes a division in the main shaft, as well as drive means in order to move the parts formed by it of the main shaft apart from each other.

    摘要: A swash plate mechanism, especially for high power swash plate pumps, incorporating, inside a casing (2) bounded by two end walls (21, 22), a driving component (3) mounted so as to rotate about a longitudinal axis (30), an inclined plate (5) bearing upon the driving component (3) and mounted so as to swivel on the latter about an inclined axis (50). The two end walls (21, 22) of the casing are joined at their periphery by additional lateral tie rods (80) parallel to the central tie rod (8), bearing upon the two end walls (21, 22) of the casing (2) and subjected to a preload tension in order to carry the forces developed by the pistons (6) in co-operation with the central tie rod.

    摘要: A method of making a cylinder block for a rotatable hydrostatic power member by separating the cylinder block into its four geometries and joining them together. The geometries include a base plate having a center opening and a arcuate kidney-shaped openings uniformly spaced radially around the center opening. The second geometrical item is a grooved drive shaft that fits into the center opening of the base plate. The third member is a group of tubular bore elements that fit in the base plate and mate with the drive shaft. The final member is a torque ring that matingly fits over the tubular piston bore elements.
