    摘要: A clutch device for a clutch system has an input member that rotates at a first speed. A friction drive system is disposed between the input member and an output member. The clutch device is selectively movable by a fluid actuator assembly, between an engaged position in which the friction drive system drives the output member to rotate at the first speed, and a disengaged position in which a viscous drive system rotates the output member at a second speed slower than the first speed. A variable viscous fluid supply assembly includes a viscous fluid storage chamber, a valve, and a valve actuator that selectively drives the valve to move between an open position and a closed position to control an amount of viscous fluid available to the viscous drive system, thereby varying the second speed.

    摘要: Disclosed is an electrically controlled silicon oil fan clutch rotary valve device. The valve device is based on a magnetic mandrel, including a Y-shaped element, a driven disc, a driving disc, and a guide disc intercombined, which achieves control over flow of silicon oil by controlling rotation of a valve, and achieves precise control over positions by resetting through a reset torsion spring and using outer teeth and inner teeth of the driving disc and the driven disc as well as a stop device. In the present invention, the valve may be controlled to be stable at an appropriate position through the size of the current of the coil, so as to achieve a stepless speed and achieve a purpose of precisely controlling the clutch.

    摘要: A viscous shear fan drive mechanism for a cooling fan. A moveable valve disk is provided which controls the quantity of fluid in the operating chamber. An electronic actuation system activates piston and shaft members which move the valve disk against the bias of a return spring to open the fill holes, allow fluid communication between the reservoir and working chambers, and allow rotation of the cooling fan. Without activation of the electronic actuation system, the flow of fluid to the working chamber is prevented. A non-magnetic or insulating bushing member adjacent the piston and shaft members prevents the system from sticking in the actuation condition when power is eliminated.
