    摘要: A low pressure liquid fuel gasification device and method is disclosed. The device includes a low frequency vibration device for generating low frequency vibration wave to supply vibration energy to compressed air. The contact between the compressed air and organic or inorganic oil liquid fuel with a dry point between 50° C. and 90° C. such as mixed hexane disposed in a fuel container enables the molecule of the oil liquid fuel to vibrate for generating gasified molecule containing the molecule of the oil liquid fuel. The gasified molecule is transported through a gas pipe device to a gas outlet whereby the gasified molecule is ignited for use.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine is provided equipped with an exhaust gas recirculating (EGR) system and means for internally cooling the exhaust gases by a spray of atomized water into the recirculated exhaust gases prior to ignition. The atomized water spray may be in the intake manifold or directly in the cylinder. The engine may employ spark or compression ignition. The internal combustion engine operates with compression ratios greater than 12:1 and lean air:fuel ratios. Also provided is a method for controlling the amount of exhaust gas recirculated in the engine, and for controlling the amount of water added. The inventive engines have elevated thermodynamic efficiencies and favorable NOx emissions.

    摘要: A fuel supply apparatus is provided which works to supply fuel such as a dimethly ether used as an alternative to a typical fuel for an internal combustion engine. The fuel supply apparatus includes a high-pressure pump working to feed the to injectors from a fuel tank through a common rail, a fuel return line, and a compressor working to add to a back pressure higher than a vapor pressure of the fuel to the return line. The addition of the back pressure higher than the vapor pressure of the fuel facilitates liquidizing of the fuel. This results in a decrease in leakage of the fuel, which improves the efficiency of burning of the fuel and ensures the startability and drivability of the engine.

    摘要: A fuel supply to unit pump-injector systems of diesel engines includes a gasification and saturation of the liquid diesel fuel. A first fuel line delivers the fuel to a low pressure pump driven by an engine shaft which pumps the fuel to a common low pressure fuel manifold. There, the fuel is distributed for injection by the pump-injector units of the engine cylinders. A second fuel line delivers the fuel to a feed pump that feeds through a plurality of nozzles into a gasification vessel. The vessel is pressurized with a gas (e.g., carbon dioxide, air, etc.) a pressure level P2. There, the fuel is saturated with pressurized gas, which is dissolved in the fuel. The solution is then pumped by a second electro motor driven pump that further increases the solution pressure up to a level P3, which is higher than the pressure level P1. At that point, the solution becomes under-saturated and it is fed to the fuel manifold for injection into the engine. A feedback system for the fuel with further pressure and temperature control is provided by the system. The system, and specifically its pumps and the fill level of the gasification vessel, is controlled by a control system.

A method for supplying and purging coal slurry in a compression ignition engine is disclosed which includes controlling fluid flow devices and valves in a plurality of fluid paths to facilitate continuous slurry recirculation and supply and purge of or slurry based on the operating state of the engine.

    摘要: An improved solid fuel carburetor is disclosed for an internal combustion engine or furnace. A solid fuel supply mechanism advances a cake of compressed, powdered, combustible fuel into an operative position in a mixing chamber. A rotary brush mechanism positioned proximately to the fuel supply mechanism, contacts the fuel cake and abrasively removes fuel particles therefrom in the mixing chamber. An air supply is provided proximate to the brush mechanism for mixing air with the removed fuel particles forming a combustible mixture in the mixing chamber. A delivery mechanism is connected between the mixing chamber and internal combustion engine or furnace, for delivering the combustible mixture to the combustion chamber. The resultant solid fuel carburetor provides a more convenient and safe mechanism for delivering solid state combustible materials to an internal combustion engine or furnace.
