    摘要: A nozzle assembly for a fuel injector includes a nozzle needle (1), which is accommodated in a high-pressure bore (2) of a nozzle body (3) in such a way that the nozzle needle can be moved in a reciprocating manner in order to open and close at least one injection opening (4) and to which a spring force of a spring (5) is applied at least indirectly in a closing direction. The nozzle needle (1) is at least partially surrounded by a throttle bore body (7) in order to form at least one closing throttle (6). The throttle bore body (7) has a multi-part design and comprises at least two sleeves (7.1, 7.2), which are at least partially guided in each other.

A fixing element (74) presses the supply line (16) against the valve carrier (46).

    摘要: A discharge valve (30) is provided in a high-pressure fuel passage (31) to allow fuel to pass through the discharge valve (30) only in a direction from a high-pressure fuel pump (20) toward a delivery pipe (50). A communication passage (41) with an orifice (42) is formed integrally with the discharge valve (30) in parallel with the discharge valve (30) to connect areas upstream and downstream of the discharge valve (30). When a fuel pressure in the delivery pipe (50) is increased to a target pressure using the high-pressure fuel pump (20), an amount of the fuel, which does not interfere with an increase in the fuel pressure, flows through the orifice (42). A check valve (40) is provided in the communication passage (41), and opened to allow the fuel to pass through the check valve (40) only in the direction from the delivery pipe (50) toward the high-pressure fuel pump (20), when the fuel pressure is higher than a first predetermined pressure.

    摘要: A needle type fuel injector has a needle control chamber at a pressure subject to a control valve in a control valve chamber which in an opening phase is lifted from its seat to expose the control valve chamber, connecting passage, and needle control chamber to a low pressure drain and in a closing phase is urged against the seat to isolate the control valve chamber, connecting passage, and needle control chamber from the drain. The potential for cavitation at high fuel injection pressure is reduced by throttling the flow of fuel past the control valve seat when the control valve opens, thereby maintaining sufficient back pressure in the control valve chamber and upstream connecting passages.

    摘要: A valve assembly suitable for use as an inlet metering valve of a fuel injection system comprises an inlet opening, an outlet aperture, and a valve element arranged to control fluid flow between the inlet opening and the outlet aperture. The valve element is moveable in response to an applied control signal to a closed position and to a fully-open position, and is biased to return to a rest position when the control signal is absent. When the valve element is in the rest position, fluid flow between the inlet opening and the outlet aperture is permitted at a relatively low rate. When the valve element is in the closed position, fluid flow between the inlet opening and the outlet aperture is substantially prevented. When the valve element is in the fully-open position, fluid flow between the inlet opening and the outlet aperture is permitted at a relatively high rate.
