    摘要: A hydraulically driven multicylinder diaphragm pumping machine has pump cylinders, each having at one end an inlet/outlet for fluid material to be pumped, and at the other end an inlet and outlet for hydraulic oil. A separator inside the pump cylinder is connected to the fluid-material end of the cylinder by a flexible diaphragm and to the fluid material end by another diaphragm, leaving an outer annular space that contains hydraulic fluid. The total volume of pumping hydraulic oil in the cylinders is maintained constant and by a device that compensates for thermal expansion and controls the necessary return flow of hydraulic oil for driving the pump. The separators move with an intake stroke at constant speed for all cylinders, and with pumping strokes function of the hydraulic oil delivery, so a lesser number of separators effect an intake stroke while a greater number of separators effect a discharge stroke.

In a reciprocating pump having: a pump body 1 including a suction path 12 and discharge path 13 for a fluid; a pair of diaphragms 2 which are airtightly fixed to both end portions of the pump body; pump shafts 15 which are attached to tip end portions of the diaphragms 2; a pair of pump flanges 4 which slidably support the pump shafts 15, and which are integrated with the pump body 1 through connection bodies 16 that are placed outside the diaphragms 2; connecting rods 18 which connect connecting plates 17 attached to projecting tip-end portions 15B that are projected from the pump flanges 4 in the pump shafts 15, to each other in a state where the connecting rods are passed through the pump flanges 4 to be placed outside the diaphragms 2; and a cover cylinder 6 which is disposed between the pair of pump flanges 4, and which surrounds the connecting rods 18, the connecting rods 18 are slidably supported through slide bearings 27 which are supported by the pump flanges 4.

    摘要: The invention generally concerns a submersible well pumping system comprising an axially elongated housing and a multi-chamber hydraulically driven diaphragm pump suspended in a well. The pump is driven by a self-contained, closed hydraulic system, activated by an electric, pneumatic or hydraulic motor. Several embodiments are used to reverse the flow of working fluid into and out of the working fluid sub-chambers of a two chambered diaphragm pump to operate the diaphragm pump over all operating conditions including starts and stops, and low speed. Generally, the embodiments sense the end of the pumping stroke, either directly or by time. When the end of the pumping stroke is sensed, the direction of flow is reversed by changing the state of a directional valve, operating a reversing clutch, or by deactivating one prime mover-auxiliary pump and activating a second that operates in the reverse direction.

    摘要: A submersible pump and filter unit for pumping and filtering acids comprises a removable pump cartridge (13) and filter unit (14) housed in respective cylindrical cavities (11, 12) in a housing (10). The pump cartridge (13) is a gas-driven double acting bellows unit with a cylindrical body (13A), the bellows (21, 22) and the body (13A) being formed of PTFE. Each bellows (21, 22) is at a respective end of a reciprocating rod (36) which is journaled coaxially in the body (13A) and which extends through a central aperture (16) in the body (13A). Control gear including a logic control valve (41) is housed in the aperture (16) and is thereby encased in PTFE structure and shielded from acid.
