Abstract: A system for noise and vibration management of a smoke evacuation system includes a pump that compresses air and produces a pressure differential within an airflow path. The pump may be a sealed, positive displacement pump. The system includes vibration absorption mechanisms disposed between inner and outer housings, as well as on the outside surface of the outer housing. Methods of controlling and regulating a motor of the system to preserve the lifespan of the motor and maintain consistent airflow rates throughout the smoke evacuation system include varying a supply of electrical current to the motor so that it can operate at variable performance levels. Orifices are opened and closed in order to relieve resistance pressures within the airflow path due to clogging and blockages.

After slide bush (56) is placed in the receiving hole (58), engagement projections (56a) engage with eccentric bush (36) in a state in which slide bush (56) has been moved by the biasing force of spring (61), thus preventing slide bush (56) from falling off the receiving hole (58), and the spring holding section (56b) prevents the spring (61) from falling off the receiving hole (58).

Abstract: A screw compressor includes compressor bodies, a motor disposed in a side of the compressor bodies, a gear box coupled to the compressor bodies and transmitting the drive force of the motor to a screw rotor, and a tubular coupling casing coupling the gear box and the motor and having horizontal axis. The coupling casing has a work hole in the horizontal direction. The work hole is used for maintaining a coupling accommodated in the coupling casing. The coupling casing has a rib extending in the up-down direction. It is thus possible to avoid reduction in the rigidity of the coupling casing with no cost increase, and to improve maintainability.
