摘要： An anchor bolt which is surely fixed to, for example, a rock wall and is easy to carry and store is provided. The anchor bolt according to the present invention has expandable devices (5) which are disposed at three locations of a rod (3). When the anchor bolt is inserted into a bore (2), a free end of an abutment part (16) of the expandable device (5) abuts an inner peripheral surface (26) of the bore (2), and expandable members (13) are held in the bore (2). In this state, when a taper member (12) is moved toward a base end of the anchor bolt along with the rod (3), an inclined surface (15) of the taper member (12) surface-contacts an inner surface (19) of the abutment part (16), and an outer peripheral surface (20) of the abutment part (16) is pressed against an inner peripheral surface 26 of the bore (2).

摘要： A method for anchoring an expansion anchor in a borehole is disclosed. The expansion anchor includes an anchor bolt and an expansion body on a first terminal section of the anchor bolt, an actuator disposed on a second terminal section of the anchor bolt, and an expansion sleeve disposed around the anchor bolt. In an embodiment, the method includes hammering the expansion anchor into the borehole in an insertion direction and actuating the actuator to screw the expansion body outwardly in a direction that is opposite the insertion direction such that the expansion sleeve is expanded radially outwardly and digs into a wall of the borehole and such that the expansion body digs into the wall of the borehole.

摘要： A concrete anchor has a body with cam surfaces. Each of the cam surfaces curves outward from a first edge to a second edge. The cam surfaces have a circumscribed outer diameter that increases in a downward direction. Jaws are retained around the body, each of the jaws having an inner side in engagement with one of the cam surfaces. Each of the jaws decreases in radial thickness in a downward direction. Cam ratchet teeth on each of the cam surfaces engage jaw ratchet teeth on the inner side of each of the jaws. The jaw ratchet teeth ratchet over the cam ratchet teeth as the body rotates in a first direction to move the jaws from a contracted position to an expanded position. The engagement of the cam and jaw ratchet teeth prevent rotation of the body relative to the jaws in the opposite direction.

The tornado protection system may allow the vehicle to remain grounded throughout the duration of a tornado having a wind speed of at least 65 MPH, a horizontal wind force of at least 2,959 lbs., and a vector wind force of at least 4,638 lbs.

摘要： A pipe hanger for supporting a pipe below an overhead support, such as a slab foundation, is disclosed. A plurality of grooves is formed in the bottom of the slab foundation. A conical wedge is frictionally engaged with each groove to secure a first threaded suspension rod to the slab foundation. A second threaded J-shaped suspension rod is operationally connected to the first suspension rod through a connector plate, in relation to which the suspension rods can axially rotate. A pipe engaging loop is connected to the second suspension rod. The pipe engaging loop can be adjusted vertically and horizontally to accommodate natural position of the pipe.
