摘要： A kit for improving the repair of a transmission. The kit presents components in a well organized fashion. The kit includes certain individual components and groups of components in preassembled subassemblies. For example, a subassembly can be preassembled to factory level tolerances. Thus, during the repair, the defective, subassembly can be removed and the preassembled replacement can be installed, saving a significant amount of repair time. It also makes the refurbished transmission less likely to fail. If the kit contains all of the transmission parts, then it is likely that all or only a portion of the parts will be used during the repair. Any unused parts can then be placed back into the kit, along with the used parts, and the kit can be returned for a partial refund or a credit.

摘要： The present invention is directed towards a kit for improving the repair of a transmission. The kit contains the components in a fashion that is well organized. Further, while some individual components are stored in the kit, others are preassembled into subassemblies. For example, a subassembly can be preassembled to factory level tolerances. Thus, during the repair, the defective subassembly can be removed and the preassembled replacement can be installed. This saves a great amount of time for the repair. It also makes the refurbished transmission less likely to fail. If the kit contains all of the transmission parts, then it is likely that all or only a portion of the parts will be used during the repair. In the event that all parts are not used, the repair man can place the unused parts back into the kit, along with the used parts, and the kit can be returned for a partial refund or a credit.

The clutch includes a sun gear, an internal gear, planetary gears, and a carrier. The sun gear is configured to switch between a fixed state and a non-fixed state. The internal gear is coupled to the input shaft in a torque transmittable manner. The planetary gears are configured to mesh with the sun gear and the internal gear. The carrier is coupled to the output shaft in a torque transmittable manner and configured to support the planetary gears rotatably. The carrier includes a coupling portion to be coupled to a detachment member configured to detach the carrier from the clutch.

摘要： An apparatus and method for repairing hydraulic fluid leakage from the low/reverse gear fluid circuit of an automatic transmission case is disclosed. The present repair kit comprises a deformable grommet seal used in combination with a steel shim to replace the original equipment gasket, which is the source of the fluid leakage. Installation of the steel shim compresses the grommet seal in the fluid passage thereby creating a leakproof seal and maintaining the integrity of the low/reverse piston fluid circuit. In addition, the steel shim functions as a spacer in replacement of the original equipment manufacture gasket, which is discarded, and also provides a non-compressible backing surface to prevent distortion of the piston retainer when it is assembled and fastened against the shim.
