    摘要: A transmission which includes input and output shafts and first and second step-down devices for producing various step-down ratios. The first and second step-down devices are associated with first and second controllable clutches, respectively, in order to connect, in a torque-transmitting manner, the respective step-down device between the input shaft and the output shaft. A first gear of the transmission is obtained by actuating the first clutch and a second gear by actuating the second clutch. A method of controlling a gearshift, from the first gear to the second gear, includes the steps of determining operating condition parameters of the transmission; and determining optimized degrees of actuation of the clutches by a search process related to a transmission model that determines the degrees of actuation on the basis of operating condition parameters in relation to a predetermined optimization criterion. The transmission model is based on slip.

    摘要: A method of determining the size of a gear interval from a currently engaged gear to a target gear in a transmission. The method includes the steps of, for each current gear and for each possible gear interval from the current gear, recording a limit value for an acceleration or a deceleration in the target gear corresponding to the current gear and the respective gear interval used; for the current gear, starting with the smallest gear interval, applying a loop with successive increases of the gear interval to determine, depending on the current driving situation and characteristic parameters of the vehicle, the acceleration or the acceleration theoretically obtainable in the target gear produced by using the gear interval, which is compared with the respective recorded limit value until the acceleration or the deceleration theoretically obtainable no longer contravenes the limit value. The gear interval is then selected for a gearshift.

    摘要: The invention relates to a controller for a vehicle having installed thereon a drive power source, a transmission, and a torque converter that is equipped with a lockup clutch and is provided between the drive power source and the transmission. The controller includes a detection unit that detects an actual revolution speed of the drive power source, and a control unit that controls the lockup clutch so that a state of the lockup clutch becomes any state from among a disengaged state, an engaged state, and a slip state. When executing a slip control, the control unit compares the actual revolution speed with the target revolution speed, and feedback controls a transmission torque of the lockup clutch on the basis of a comparison result of the actual revolution speed and a target revolution speed so as to cause the actual revolution speed to follow the target revolution speed.

    摘要: To prevent engine speed from increasing during low-speed operation, a transmission includes a change-gear mechanism, a centrifugal clutch, a control unit and a secondary sheave rotation sensor. The change-gear mechanism has an input shaft, an output shaft and an actuator for changing a change-gear ratio between the input and output shafts. The centrifugal clutch is connected to the output shaft. The control unit controls the actuator. The secondary sheave rotation sensor detects and outputs a rotational speed of the output shaft to the control unit. The control unit controls the actuator based on a target change-gear ratio obtained by dividing a target rotational speed of the input shaft by the rotational speed of the output shaft.

The control modifying section is configured to detect a change of the vehicle traveling direction in accordance with a second parameter which is the actual transmission ratio, and to modify the shift control of the toroidal continuously-variable transmission so as to shift the actual transmission ratio to a speed decreasing side upon detection of the change of the vehicle traveling direction.
