    摘要: A multi seal extension for an air valve (MSEFAV) that functions in combination with a conventional air valve having an air valve stem in order to extend the length of the stem, thus facilitating the insertion of air via the valve from a greater distance. The MSEFAV includes a rotating securement sleeve, an extension tube, and a stem interface. Inserted into, and attached to, the extension tube is the stem interface, which has multiple seals: a first, end of valve seal; a second, inner thread seal; and a third, core seal. The inclusion and use of the seals provides significantly increased air retention, and projection against moisture and dirt from entering the MSEFAV and air valve, over conventional valve extension designs.

    摘要: An annular valve seat is projected radially inward from a passage wall. A valve element is located on the upstream side of the valve seat. A spring biases the valve element toward the upstream side. The valve element has a through hole to pass fluid between the upstream side and the downstream side when the valve element is seated on the valve seat. The valve element switches between a large opening state, in which the valve element is lifted from the valve seat to pass fluid around an outer circumferential periphery of the valve element and to pass through the through hole, and a small opening state, in which the valve element is seated on the valve seat to pass fluid through the through hole. The valve element is supported and slidable on a guide surface, which is formed on the passage wall, at the outer circumferential periphery.

    摘要: Check valves including in situ cleaning mechanisms are shown and described. The check valves include a side wall, an opening, a disc disposed within the opening and configured to be moveable between an open position and a closed position, and a cleaning mechanism. The cleaning mechanism includes a port in the side wall configured to be coupled to a fluid source to spray fluid onto an inner surface of the side wall and the disc to clear debris from the check valve. In some examples, the port is an access port configured to be coupled to a nozzle for coupling the fluid source to the port. In some further examples, the cleaning mechanism includes a handle operatively coupled to the disc to move the disc between the open position and the closed position.

    摘要: A die casting mold evacuation valve assembly features a two-part valve casing. Machined in the front casing part is an evacuation duct closable by an evacuation valve. Housed in the casing is an actuator for actuating a valve piston of the evacuation valve. The actuator includes a casting material actuated force transducer and a force transmission member for transmitting the closing movement of the force transducer to the valve piston of the evacuation valve. The actuator features in addition a stacked spring assembly for returning the actuator and/or force ejecting the riser. The front casing part is provided with a sleeve surrounding at least a head part of the valve piston and/or a further sleeve surrounding at least the head part of the force transducer. Both sleeves are harder than the front casing part.
