摘要: Illumination systems with selectively adjustable illumination patterns which reduce the need for a utility or luminaire distributer to stock luminaires with different illumination patterns and reduce the need for pre-planning installations. Implementations may allow scheduled dimming of luminaires, dimming in defined physical directions and scheduled adjustment of light patterns. The efficiency and/or color contrast of a luminaire may be improved by using wavelength shifting material, such as a phosphor, to absorb less desired wavelengths and transmit more desired wavelengths. A transmissive filter may reflect desired wavelengths such as red and green, while passing less desired wavelengths (e.g., blue) toward the wavelength shifting material which emits such as light of more desirable wavelengths.

摘要: An LED light engine and automated luminaire are provided. The LED light engine includes LED emitters, a first lens array, a color mixing module, second and third lens arrays, and a converging lens. The first lens array includes collimating lenslets corresponding to the LED emitters. The first lens array emits a plurality of light beams corresponding to the LED emitters. Each of the light beams includes substantially parallel light rays. The color mixing module includes dichroic filters that receive the light beams and emit corresponding filtered light beams. The second lens array includes converging lenslets that receive the filtered light beams. The third lens array includes other converging lenslets optically coupled to the second lens array. The converging lens is optically coupled to the third lens array. The second and third lens arrays and the converging lens illuminate a gate in an optical system with the filtered light beams.

摘要: A lighting apparatus may include a light generating device for generating a primary light beam, a phosphor body that can be irradiated by means of the primary light beam and serves for partly converting primary light of the primary light beam into secondary light, and a spectral filter disposed downstream of the phosphor body. The spectral filter may be more highly transmissive to the secondary light than to the primary light where the spectral filter is arranged along a beam axis of the primary light beam incident on the phosphor body. The lighting apparatus may be used in LARP arrangement for vehicle lighting, general lighting, exterior lighting, stage lighting, effect lighting, etc.

The light source can produce a wide color gamut in display, and improved color rendering of tissue under observation by phosphor gap filling with colored LEDs. The light source can include provisions to depart from a white light spectrum to heighten differences in anatomical features or functions. The light source can include provisions to introduce narrow-band solid-state sources for producing false-color and pseudo-color images, with variable color rendering to change the power spectral distribution and to compensate for fiber optic length and fiber optic diameter tip sensing.
