Abstract: A heat releasing unit includes heat releasing constituents which are stacked and are joined together while heat releasing flow passages are formed in the heat releasing constituents, respectively. An evaporating unit includes evaporating constituents which are stacked and are joined together, while evaporating flow passages are formed in the evaporating constituents, respectively. The evaporating unit and the heat releasing unit are arranged one after another in a direction along a side plate portion. A heat releasing unit outlet is formed at an outlet-side heat releasing constituent that is one of the heat releasing constituents placed at an end thereof. An evaporating unit inlet is formed at an inlet-side evaporating constituent that is one of the evaporating constituents placed at an end thereof. All of the heat releasing flow passages are connected to the evaporating flow passages through the heat releasing unit outlet and the evaporating unit inlet.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat exchanger comprising multiple arranged fin tubes, each of which comprises a heat transferring fin and multiple tubes integrally formed on a plate, wherein refrigerant flows through the tubes. Each of the fin tubes has a first surface forming the front surface of the fin tube and a second surface forming the rear surface of the fin tube, and has opening part which communicates with at least a side of the multiple tubes and is formed to extend through the first surface and the second surface; and the perimeters of the openings of the fin tubes adjacent to each other may be connected through a connection part such that the openings of the adjacent fin tubes communicate with each other. Therefore, there is an advantage in that refrigerant can be distributed without a separate header.

Abstract: A plate heat exchanger includes heat transfer plates having openings at four corners thereof, having outer wall portions at their edges, and stacked together. The heat transfer plates are partially brazed together such that a first flow passage for first fluid and a second flow passage for second fluid are alternately arranged, with a heat transfer plate interposed between these flow passages, the openings communicating with each other, forming a first header allowing the first fluid to flow into and out of the first flow passage and a second header allowing the second fluid to flow into and out of the second flow passage. One heat transfer plate located between the first or second flow passage is formed by stacking two metal plates. Space between the metal plates includes a fine flow passage located within a heat exchange region, and a peripheral leakage passage outward of the fine flow passage.

Abstract: A membrane-based heat and mass exchanger includes a plurality of slats where each slat has at least one membrane support structure, a plurality of grooves, at least one first inlet port and one first outlet port for a first fluid, and at least one second inlet port and at least one second outlet port for a second fluid. O-rings or gaskets shaped to match the plurality of grooves are inserted and a plurality of selective membranes is secured to the slats over the supports. The assembly is secured using bolts or clamps for compressing the slats and the selective membranes into an assembly of slats. The slats can be plastic and can be formed from multiple plastic sheets that are welded together to form structures for supporting and channeling fluids through the sheet. The sheets can display a serpentine surface for mixing of fluids under flow.

Abstract: A reactor has a heat exchanging body including therein a heat medium flow channel in which heat medium flows, and a reaction flow channel in which a reaction fluid flows, to exchange heat between the heat medium and the reaction fluid. A heat transfer promoter is provided in the heat medium flow channel and comes in close contact with the heat exchanging body to promote heat transfer between the heat medium and the heat exchanging body. The heat transfer promoter is an assembly of partial heat transfer promoters of a plurality of types. Replacing the partial heat transfer promoter with another type one, temperature distribution in the heat exchanging body is adjusted.

The heat exchanger also includes a reinforcing member having a length corresponding to a length of the conduit line from one end to the other end thereof, to improve rigidity of the conduit line.
