摘要： In an automatic firearm, a cartridge feed device is provided in order to convey the uppermost cartridge in a magazine into an intermediate station transverse to its extent. A lifting device is used to grasp the cartridge in the intermediate station and to move it vertically into a feed station in which it is aligned parallel to the axis of the barrel of the weapon. The lifting device is implemented as a feed fork having prongs which engage the cartridge in the intermediate station from the front and which then lift the cartridge into the feed station in a tilting movement.

摘要： A firearm is provided with a weapon operating system for firing large cartridges. The firearm may be a shoulder-fired, multi-shot, semiautomatic grenade launcher for firing grenade cartridges. The grenade launcher includes a magazine with a receptacle that holds one or more cartridges, a barrel, and a receiver coupled between the magazine and the barrel. The receiver includes a lightweight weapon operating system. Springs may be provided between the receiver and the magazine to isolate the receiver and barrel from the mass of cartridges in the magazine and the mounting resistance. A vernier feed system is disclosed for disengaging stacked cartridges in a tubular magazine from one another. A lifter based cartridge feed system is disclosed for magazine round control and/or chambering. A dwell is disclosed for retarding the breech lever after it has applied power to the accelerator lever during opening.

摘要： The present invention relates to a gun trigger actuator which converts a manual trigger to an optionally mechanical trigger in lever action rifles, such as the Winchester Model 94 lever action rifle. More particularly, the present invention relates to a fulcrum which is pivotably mounted on a pivot pin to the trigger guard portion of the rifle lever just below and forwardly of the tip of the trigger. The fulcrum pivots on the trigger guard from a passive off position to an active firing position and can optionally be employed to mechanically fire the gun by exerting force on the trigger, thereby actuating the trigger, when the lever is rotated to a closed position. The present invention may also includes a trigger shim which is installed in the receiver in front of the trigger to eliminate slack in the trigger and properly fix the trigger in position in relation to the fulcrum. The present invention may also include an enlarged finger opening in the lever in order to accept a user's wrist or arm. This allows the gun to be employed by a person with limited or no use of their fingers or hands.
