Abstract: Provided are methods, systems, devices, and tangible non-transitory computer readable media for providing data including vehicle map service data. The disclosed technology can perform operations including receiving vehicle map service data from a plurality of service systems that include a plurality of client systems associated with a vehicle. The vehicle map service data can include information associated with a geographic area. A local map of the geographic area within a predetermined distance of the vehicle can be generated based on the vehicle map service data. Portions of the local map to which each client system is subscribed can be determined for each client system of the plurality of client systems. Additionally, the portions of the local map to which each client system is subscribed can be sent to a respective client system of the plurality of client systems.

Abstract: Provided are methods, systems, devices, and tangible non-transitory computer readable media for providing data including vehicle map service data. The disclosed technology can perform operations including accessing vehicle map service data including information associated with a geographic area and sensor observations of a vehicle. The vehicle map service data is based on a vehicle map service protocol specifying layers associated with portions of the vehicle map service data to which each client system is subscribed. Further, the layers to which the client systems are subscribed can be determined and access to the plurality of layers to which each of the vehicle client systems is subscribed can be provided to each of the client systems. Access to the layers can include authorization to send or receive one or more portions of the vehicle map service data associated with a corresponding layer.

Abstract: Among other things, we describe techniques for automatic annotation of environmental features in a map during navigation of a vehicle. The techniques include receiving, by the vehicle located within an environment, a map of the environment. Sensors of the vehicle receive sensor data and semantic data. The sensor data includes a plurality of features of the environment. A geometric model of a feature of the plurality of features is generated. The feature is associated with a drivable area within the environment. A drivable segment is extracted from the drivable area. The drivable segment is segregated into a plurality of geometric blocks, wherein each geometric block corresponds to a characteristic of the drivable area and the geometric model of the feature includes the plurality of geometric blocks. The geometric model is annotated using the semantic data. The annotated geometric model is embedded within the map.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate generally to identifying and displaying traffic lanes that are available for autonomous driving. This information may be displayed to a driver of a vehicle having an autonomous driving mode, in order to inform the driver of where he or she can use the autonomous driving mode. In one example, the display may visually distinguishing between lanes that are available for auto-drive from those that are not. The display may also include an indicator of the position of a lane (autodrive or not) currently occupied by the vehicle. In addition, if that lane is an autodrive lane the display may include information indicating how much further the vehicle may continue in the autonomous driving mode in that particular lane. The display may also display information indicating the remaining autodrive distance in other lanes as well as the lane with the greatest remaining autodrive distance.

Abstract: Systems and methods for aggregating and integrating distributed grid element inputs are disclosed. A data platform is provided for a distribution power grid. The data platform provides a crowd-sourced gaming system for identifying grid elements and determining dynamic electric power topology. The data platform also provides an interactive interface for displaying a view of a certain area with identified grid elements. The data platform communicatively connects to the identified grid elements, collects data from the identified grid elements, and manages the distribution power grid.
