    摘要: A mobile scale including a lower frame having at least one load cell and an upper deck having at least one load cell engagement surface for engaging the at least one load cell. The upper deck is movable from a first position where the at least one load cell engagement surface is engaged with the at least one load cell to a second position where the at least one load cell engagement surface is disengaged from the at least one load cell. Also, a method of weighing and moving a load. The load is placed on the mobile scale described above. The weight of the load is determined using the load cells when the upper deck is in the first position. The mobile scale is then lifted to transition the upper deck from the first position to the second position and moved to a new location.

In further embodiments, the enclosure includes a stiff pipe sleeve and ring elements with flexible membranes connecting the sleeve to the longitudinal body, and a mounting end face of the longitudinal body has centering pins in holes and an 0-ring in a groove.

Further embodiments involve an overload protection integrated in the bending beam, or the enclosure including a stiff pipe sleeve and ring elements with flexible membranes connecting the sleeve to the longitudinal body.

Strain gauges (20) are bonded to one of the thin sections of pulling side (18a) and to one of the thin sections of compressing side (18b), and circular apertures are formed through the remaining two thin sections 18. The performances of the load cell such as the reduction of the measurement error and of the period of time before the start of the measurement are achieved.

    摘要: A technique for recording the front image of vehicles which violate the regulation in the axle weight is desired. In general, the weight of the leading axle cannot be excessively heavy, so that the over weight axle is a second or more rear side axle. And the distance between an axle weight detector and a vehicle detector for taking a vehicle image is normally below 8 meters. Under these conditions, when the over weight axle is detected, the over axle weight vehicle is guessed to be a vehicle being presently detected, a vehicle to be detected next, or next to the next. From the images of those vehicles, vehicles having no possibility to violate the axle weight regulation are eliminated based on a license plate read from the vehicle image or the measured vehicle height. The images being not eliminated are stored as over axle weight vehicle images.

    摘要: A load-bearing device including an overload indicator and a wire form overload indicator are provided for interconnection of load bearing connectors, preferably elongated load bearing connectors, for bearing a load. In preferred embodiments, the load bearing connectors are chains, ropes, wire ropes, cables, straps and the like, preferably chain. The wire form overload indicator preferably includes a wire form quick-link having a first thickness, and first and second elongated sides. The first elongated side preferably includes an interconnectable gap through which connection loops of the load bearing connectors can pass when the interconnectable gap is unconnected. The interconnectable gap includes a connection end and a connectable end, the connecting end having a connector capable of connecting the connecting end to the connectable end to close the gap. The second elongated side preferably has a portion having a diminished thickness as compared to the first thickness. The diminished thickness preferably has a predetermined load bearing capability and is calibrated to reduce the load bearing capability of the methods of making an overload indicator and a load bearing device including an overload indicator are also provided.
