摘要： A test tape device is disclosed herein for use with a replaceable analytical tape cassette, where the device includes a housing having a cassette compartment covered by a cassette door and a housing opening for sample application, a protective cover that can be moved between a closed position covering the housing opening and a release position allowing access to the housing opening and a door lock for retaining the cassette door in the closed position, wherein the protective cover is coupled with the door lock via an interlocking mechanism, such that the door lock can only be unlocked in the release position of the cover.

摘要： An apparatus with a combination of a point light source and a single lens is provided. The present apparatus includes a point light source, a photodetector and a lens. The lens is placed in the same side of the point light source and the photodetector in order that the light emitting from the point light source is focused onto a target area of an object through the lens. The reflected light from the target area is focused onto the photodetector through the lens. The present apparatus can qualitatively and quantitatively monitor a content of a specific component of a tested solution. The geometric relationship of the point light source, the photodetector and the single lens can improve a measuring resolution of the present apparatus.

摘要： According to a first aspect, the present invention provides an apparatus for the evaluation of a longitudinally extending, flexible test carrier for the analytical determination of components of a body fluid. The test carrier has an insertion end to be inserted into the apparatus and a handling end. The test carrier is positioned and securely held in a measurement position in such a manner that its test field is present in a definite position with regard to the measurement unit. The positioning element includes at least two holding elements, one of which firmly holds the test carrier close to its insertion end and the other of which firmly holds the test carrier close to its handling end. A supporting surface being provided on which the test carrier lies at least partly in its measurement position. According to a second aspect for the evaluation of test carriers with a covering layer fixed in the manner of a flap on one edge of the test carrier, there is present a shutter element with a contact surface for pressing on the covering layer, the aperture element being mounted and operable in such a manner that the contact surface in the last phase of approaching the covering layer makes, relative to the test carrier, a tilting movement about a tilting axis which lies in close proximity to a fixing edge of the covering layer.

摘要： The present invention provides a device for the evaluation of a flat test carrier for the analytical determination of components of body fluids, said device having a tempering device and a regulating unit, the tempering device including a heating and measurement unit which can be pressed flatly against the test carrier in the region of its reference surface utilized for the evaluation and having a heating surface, wherein the heating and measurement unit has a heating surface which can be homogeneously heated with at least one resistance heating element, at least one resistance heating element is associated at least partly in close proximity to the heating surface, at least one part, serving as temperature measurement section, of the part of the resistance heating element arranged in the neighborhood of the heating surface consisting of a material with a temperature-dependent electrical resistance and the electrical resistance of the temperature measurement section is used for the regulation of the temperature of the heating and measurement unit by means of the regulating unit so that a part of the heating element simultaneously serves as temperature measurement element.

摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus for determining the diffuse reflectivity of a sample surface of small dimensions, especially of the test field of a test strip for determining the substances contained in a body fluid. The apparatus has a semiconductor light emitter, especially a light-emitting diode, for the emission of visible or infrared light to the sample surface, a measuring receiver for receiving the light diffusely reflected by the sample surface and producing an electrical signal corresponding thereto, an evaluating means including an electronic circuit for converting the receiver signal to a value corresponding to the diffuse reflectivity, and a reference channel using the light from the same emitter for the calibration of the apparatus and for the elimination of errors of measurement caused by variations of the emitter or of other electronic components.
