摘要: A display system for a cockpit of an aircraft comprises a display device configured to be secured to a user's head in the cockpit of the aircraft. A display computer is configured to control the display of information on the display device. The display computer is configured to determine a distance between the head of the user and an element of the cockpit intersecting with a direction corresponding to a current orientation of the head of the user, when the user looks inside the cockpit, and to control a virtual display distance of the display device, corresponding to the distance between the head of the user and the element of the cockpit.

摘要: A head mounted display includes first and second light source modules, a light reversely turning module, an image output module, first and second eyepiece modules, and a beam splitting mirror. The first and second light source modules are respectively configured to emit first and second lights. The image output module is configured to receive the first and second lights, generating first and second image lights with corresponding image information respectively. The light reversely turning module is optically coupled between the first light source module (or the second light source module) and the image output module, making a propagating direction of the first light (or the second light) in reverse to that of the first image light (or the second light). The beam splitting mirror is optically coupled between the image output module and the first/second eyepiece module, guiding the first/second image light into the first/second eyepiece module.

摘要: The disclosure relates generally to a display panel, which in at least some situations includes multiple separate stacked layers or components that are combined together, such as to have one emission layer component with numerous pixels that emit light, and to have at least one control logic layer component that includes integrated circuits or other logic to control the emission of light by the pixels in the emission layer. The different layers may be separate silicon chips or wafers that are connected in a stacked structure via a flip chip technique, with the emission layer using AMOLED or other OLED pixels. The display panels may be designed and/or configured for use in head mounted displays (e.g., with a fully immersive virtual reality system). The disclosure also relates generally to techniques for manufacturing, testing and/or otherwise using such a display panel in various manners.

摘要: An optical device, including a light waves-transmitting substrate has two major surfaces and edges, optical means for coupling light into the substrate by total internal reflection, and a plurality of partially reflecting surfaces (22a, 22b) carried by the substrate. The partially reflecting surfaces (22a, 22b) are parallel to each other and are not parallel to any of the edges of the substrate, one or more of the partially reflecting surfaces (22a, 22b) being an anisotropic surface. The optical device has dual operational modes in see-through configuration. In a first mode, light waves are projected from a display source through the substrate to an eye of a viewer. In a second mode, the display source is shut off and only an external scene is viewable through the substrate.
