摘要: A liquid electrophotographic developing device for developing a charged and exposed photoconductive material which includes a photoconductive layer formed on one surface of a conductive layer. The liquid electrophotographic developing device is comprised of developing section, a developing solution tank provided in a housing and filled with a developing solution, conveying rollers for conveying the photoconductive materials, a developing electrode and a back electrode which are disposed parallel along a conveying path of the photoconductive material in the developing section, and a developing solution supplying device disposed above the developing electrode. The developing electrode is spaced part from the photoconductive layer, and the back electrode is disposed to come into contact with the back surface of the photoconductive material. Upon directly connecting the electrodes, toner particles contained in the developing solution adhere to the photoconductive layer to achieve development. The developing electrode does not touch the photoconductive layer to make a developed image free from soiling. The housing is covered with a lid to prevent the vaporizing of the developing solution. The developing solution is circulated through the developing section by a circulating device.

The electrodes are immersed in the developing solution and disposed on either side of the photoconductive material in conveyance. 摘要: An apparatus for developing photosensitive material which comprises passing the material into a bath of circulating developer fluid at a relatively static portion thereof and discharging the material from the bath below the surface of the fluid through a nip between two squeeze rollers. The fluid is prevented from escaping from the bath at the discharge end due to the cooperation between a sealing lip on the lower guide plate of the bath and the nip formed by the squeeze rollers.

摘要: An electrostatic copier for use with zinc oxide coated copy paper in which a developing fluid having toner and particles is stored in a fluid absorbing cloth or the like. The cloth is placed against the exposed coated paper side. Toner particles migrate to the coated side only from cloth areas overlying a given paper zone. Cloth areas adjacent such a zone supply few or no toner particles so that the zone is uniformly toned without forming dark borders and light centers.

摘要: A liquid developing station is provided in a copying device for developing electrostatic images on receivers in a manner such that distribution of developing liquid across the receiver is very uniform. A liquid reservoir for the development liquid is provided which is adapted to receive separate containers for supplying additional carrier or developing liquid and toner particles. The liquid is dispensed directly into the reservoir by inserting a container thereof into a first receptacle in the top of the reservoir. Toner particles are supplied in an aerosol can which may be positioned in a second receptacle with the nozzle thereof adjacent an inlet to a liquid pump within the reservoir. To add toner, the operator may energize a circuit which upon the next operation of the copying device will cause the aerosol can to dispense a measured quantity of toner particles into the pump inlet so that it is immediately circulated and mixed in the developing liquid for the next print. After each print cycle, developing liquid quickly drains from the developing station into the reservoir.
