    摘要: The electrostatic information recording medium of the present invention has an electric charge retaining layer 11 stacked on at least an electrode layer 13, as shown in FIG. 1. The electric charge retaining layer is formed from either 1 a resin selected from among fluorocarbon resins, and an insulating organic substance having no photoconductivity, or 2 a fluorine-containing thermoplastic resin consisting of a repeating unit represented by formula (1): ##STR1## (where the content of the dioxonol component represented by the number m of repeating units is in the range of 20 mol % to 90 mol %) the fluorine-containing thermoplastic resin having a melt viscosity of 10.sup.2 to 10.sup.4 Pa.sec at a temperature which is 90.degree. C. to 110.degree. C. higher than its glass transition temperature.

    摘要: Information on a patient chart is imaged onto a first portion of a dielectric receptor sheet simultaneously with, prior to or subsequent to exposure of a second portion of the receptor sheet to object-modulated X-rays in an ionography imaging chamber. The sheet has an outer layer consisting of polyvinyl chloride or polyethylene terephthalate and is brought into intimate contact with a chart at a station where the chart and the overlapping first portion of the sheet are exposed to electromagnetic radiation issuing from an electronic flash unit. This results in the formation of a latent image of the information on the first sheet portion, and such image is thereupon converted into a visible image, either on the receptor sheet or on a separate sheet, in accordance with a xerographic developing technique by resorting to toner particles. The sheet can be reused by neutralizing its charge, e.g., by heating its layer to a temperature approximately 10.degree. C. above the freezing point of the material of the layer, by moving the sheet relative to an AC corona discharge device (or vice versa), or by washing the layer with alcohol.

    摘要: Improved electrostatic recording material having a mat-finish surface and excellent electrostatic recording characteristics and capable of being written thereupon by conventional ink pens, lead pencils, and ballpoint pens and also capable of receiving impression made by conventional rubber stamps or printing processes can be made by coating a base sheet with a composition comprising (I) 10 to 90 parts by weight (as solids) of at least one member selected from the group consisting of (A) an aqueous solution of an amine or ammonium salt of a copolymer having a film-formability at a temperature not higher than 70*C and composed of (a) 8 to 50 mole percent in terms of free carboxyl group) of a carboxyl group-containing polymerizable monomer and (b) 92 to 50 mole percent of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of an ethylenic monomer and a conjugated diolefinic monomer and (b) an aqueous dispersion of a polymer having a film-formability at a temperature not higher than 70*C prepared by polymerizing (a'') 100 parts by weight of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of an ethylenic monomer and a conjugated diolefinic monomer in (b'') 1 to 200 parts by weight (as solids) of an aqueous solution of an amine or ammonium salt of a copolymer composed of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of an ethylenic monomer and a conjugated diolefinic monomer, and (II) 90 to 10 parts by weight (as solids) of an aqueous dispersion of a water-insoluble homopolymer or copolymer having no film-formability at a temperature not higher than 70*C and having an average particle size of 1 to 20 Mu prepared by emulsion or suspension-polymerizing at least one monomer selected from an ethylenic monomer and a conjugated diolefinic monomer, and drying the resulting assembly.
